You just can’t. The man’s falling apart physically, mentally, politically, pick your poison. Every time they try to slap a fresh coat of paint on him, they just highlight the cracks. It’s like watching somebody try to hide a dumpster fire under a napkin. They keep thinking if they stage another photo op, the public’s going to forget he’s in meltdown mode. But every time they try it, it gets more absurd. Case in point, today’s masterpiece, the so-called Oval Office meeting. Yeah, about that. It wasn’t a meeting. It was a setpiece. A glorified green screen moment designed to make a halfawake Trump look like he’s running the country when in reality he’s barely running his eyelids. weekend at Bernie’s Oval Office edition. They pushed out the photo Trump at the desk, flags behind him, papers stacked like props, and MAGA media tripped over themselves, screaming, “Look, he’s working.” Except small problem. The logs don’t show anyone coming in or out. The lights all wrong for the time of day. The shot matches perfectly with footage from another event earlier in the week. It’s the same fake meeting recycled for another round of propaganda and then that leaked image drops. You know the one where you can see the camera rig and the aids hovering like nurses at a retirement home. Yeah, that one. The minute it hit the internet, it was over. You can’t spin that away. The guy slumped at the desk, eyes half closed, bruises on his hands like he’s been wrestling his own walker, ankles puffed up like he’s auditioning for the Michelin man. This is not a well man. And yet here comes Carolyn Levit, bless her heart, telling the press that Trump’s sharp, energetic, and focused. What exactly? The nap he’s about to take. These people are running a White House like it’s a stage play, props, lighting, retakes, and a star who can’t remember his lines. They don’t even realize. The more they insist he’s fine, the more obvious it is that he’s not. Every excuse, every phony photo op, every carefully cropped shot, it all screams panic. The coverup isn’t working. because the cover up is the story now. So yeah, we’ll get into the whole fake Oval Office debacle that just blew up in their faces. But before we do, I want to start with Lawrence O’Donnell, the only guy in mainstream media who’s actually talking about Donald Trump’s health struggles. Well, if Donald Trump gets dementia, how will we know? Donald Trump’s mental decline, which is more and more obvious, started from such a low level of mental processing power that it’s hard to track his decline. It’s from low to lower. And then there are days like today when Donald Trump asks himself out loud in public if he is allowed to appoint himself chair of the Federal Reserve. Now, it may be tiresome to hear, but we must not grow weary of making the point that no other president was ever capable of saying anything as stupid or as indicative of dementia as that. Am I allowed to appoint myself chair of the Federal Reserve? And we must not grow weary of reminding ourselves what the White House press corps would have done if Joe Biden ever said anything like that and how big the headlines would be in the next day’s print editions of the New York Times and the Washington Post and every newspaper in the country. Because if we grow weary of making the point of how singularly stupid and possibly clinically demented Donald Trump’s statements are, then we will become part of the normalization process of those statements which most of the American news media has unwittingly participated in. And 14year-olds in this country will think it’s perfectly normal for a president to say those things. It’s really just Lawrence O’Donnell at this point, isn’t it? It it is just him. He’s the only one who has been talking about Epstein consistently, Donald Trump’s cognitive decline, and almost more importantly than both of those things. The mainstream media is complete lack of coverage of either of them. You know, I I always say this, it’s not just enough to be an independent media outlet, to be doing stuff on YouTube, on Twitter, on Tik Tok, on Instagram, on Substack. You also have to be working to not align yourself with the mainstream press, to not just do business as usual, to cover the stories that people don’t want to talk about or are being stopped from talking about. And that is why every opportunity that the press gets, they should be asking about Donald Trump’s health because when they do ask, Carolyn Levit gets very strange answers like this, which kind of illuminate why there was a fake meeting in the Oval Office today. Why did President Trump get an MRI during his recent visit to Wall Street? Look, as President Trump said, uh he would inquire with the physicians. I’ll check back on that, but as the physical itself stated, Kristen, and as you all know, because you all witnessed to it every single day, the president is in optimal physical health. This was a follow-up appointment and we provided a detailed readout of that physical. I’m happy to give it to you again and I can inquire further. With all due respect, an MRI is a very specific procedure. It’s done on a part of the body looking for something specific. So, it’s not generally part of any kind of routine checkup. And in addition, President Trump has said that he wants to be transparent. He as told us to ask the doctors, which we have and have not heard back. Why don’t we have more information on this? As I said, I’ll check back for you. So, here’s where we are, folks, and it’s every bit as bizarre as it sounds. We still don’t know why Donald Trump got an MRI. We don’t know why Carolyn Levit, the walking press release generator they keep trotting out, wouldn’t just tell the American people that there was an MRI. Why hide it? Why duck the question? She’s had every opportunity to come clean and instead keep saying, “I’ll check back for you. Sure, we’ll be waiting along with the rest of America.” And look, if it’s no big deal, if this MRI was just routine, you say that. You tell people. You don’t run from the question like it’s radioactive. But if you won’t tell us it happened and then won’t tell us why it happened, well, that sure sounds like it was important, doesn’t it? Especially since the White House already has MRI machines on site. So, what’s the deal? What else are they testing for? What exactly are they scanning the knees, the cankles, the bruised hands, or maybe, just maybe, the pudding brain that’s been powering down in real time on national television? Because let’s be honest, there’s a lot of possible failure points with this guy. You could spin a wheel and hit something that’s falling apart. And at this point, you can almost hear the staff whispering prayers that whatever’s shutting down just finishes the job. But the image management continues. Trump’s team knows he needs people props really to keep up the illusion that he’s conscious, that there’s still something ticking behind the eyes. Which brings us to the comedy act of the weekend, Senator Mark Wayne Mullen. This guy decided to play presidential theater critic for the boss and post the most transparently fake tweet of the week. Here’s what he wrote. And I swear you can’t make this up. Working through the weekend with Donald Trump. It’s always an honor to be in the Oval Office. I never take this opportunity to serve Oklahoma for granted. Touching, right? Patriotic even. Except for one tiny problem. Trump wasn’t in Washington. Not even close. As journal Sarah Parnes pointed out, Trump was in Palm Beach at the time. Nowhere near the Oval Office. And our friend Ben Miselus from Midas Touch chimed in too. Why lie? He’s at Mara Lago golfing and partying with the leader of Argentina. You know, the same guy Trump funneled $40 billion of taxpayer cash to. So yeah, Mullen lied straight up. And it wasn’t even a good lie. It’s not like he had to write working through the weekend. He could have said, “Always great working with President Trump. Simple, vague, plausible.” But no, he had to go full dear leader mode, pretending he’s burning the midnight oil with a man who’s probably asleep in a golf cart. And that’s the point. They have to say that. They have to keep pretending this guy is strong, tireless, in charge, alive, because the alternative is admitting what everyone else can see. that Trump looks like he’s being propped up weekended Bernie style by a team of aids who’ve memorized the choreography of denial. If you freeze frame that Oval Office photo they released, Trump’s half asleep posture looks like a man being operated by remote control. It’s not hard to imagine Steven Miller standing just off camera, one hand metaphorically maybe literally up the puppet’s back, making him nod on Q. And the message to MAGA World, don’t look, don’t notice, don’t ask. Don’t ask why the so-called sleepy Joe guy is the one actually walking, talking, governing while Trump can barely shuffle to the next photo op. Don’t ask why he needs handlers just to walk downstairs or read two sentences without slurring. Just believe the illusion. So Mullen lies. He gets caught and the machine keeps spinning because the truth is too fragile to admit. Donald Trump is in a full-blown health emergency. His team knows it. His party knows it. Half of Washington knows it. But no one wants to say it out loud because it shatters the mythology that keeps the movement together. Meanwhile, while Trump’s pretending to work through the weekend, Americans are actually struggling through one. Losing healthare, losing housing, watching food programs expire, watching an administration that’s too busy covering up the boss’s physical collapse to deal with anyone else’s real problems. And that’s why this next moment hit like a lightning bolt, because someone finally decided to stop pretending. someone who’s not afraid to say it plain. We can do this if you just make sure that you keep that song in your mind that you feel no ways tired. So, let’s talk about where we came from. Okay? I hate to talk about it, but we gonna talk about it. So, uh, as I said, as we did a rally, uh, in California right before Prop 50 passed, you know, our our our feeble little governor, yeah, now he doesn’t know how to answer the call of the people. In fact, he usually doesn’t want to show up and talk to the people. But somehow when that orange line rings, he knows how to pick up the phone and do whatever it is that he is told to do. Now, that’s not what leadership looks like. Not at all. That is not what it looks like. But but here’s the thing. He decided that he was going to answer the call of the orange one and ignore the calls and the voices of the people of Texas. Yeah. And so it makes me think about uh an actual verse. Psalm 30 and5. It says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy joy comes in the morning.” So weeping looks like leaders promoting hate. Weeping looks like Abbott being a lousy step and fetch it governor that puts tyranny over Texans. Weeping looks like taking food out of the mouths of seniors, babies, and making sure that after a court tells you to feed the people, you decide to appeal it. Weeping looks like taking away healthc care and not giving a damn. Weeping looks like wreaking havoc, not only on our economy, but also the East Wing. Weeping looks like terrorizing communities with ICE. But joy, but joy. Joy looks like our amazing Texas state reps. Joy looks like the winds that we had on November 4th throughout the entire country. Joy looks like restoring decency, dignity, and democracy. Joy looks like California passing Prop 50. Finally, Joy looks like a man by the name of Gavin Newsome. Many of y’all may not know this. I said I was happy to be back home because I’ve been on the road fighting for Texans. I went to Pennsylvania to make sure that they retained their judges. I went to California to make sure I could do my part for Prop 50. I made sure that I went to Virginia on behalf of Abigail Spamberger. You see, winning means that we got to do the work. But more importantly, I told y’all joy comes in the morning. And so, let me tell you about Gavin Newsome. Gavin Newsome could have sat on the sidelines, you see, cuz everything looks blue in California. But he decided that it was bigger than just his state. He decided that this was about the democracy of all of us. And frankly, he decided if you come for Texas, then I’mma come for you. Listen, it’s been a while since we had leadership that had our backs. This This right here is how you do it. This is how we have to message. You don’t reason with Trumpism. You embarrass it. You drag it into the daylight and let the absurdity speak for itself. The only language these people understand is ridicule, relentless, fact-based humiliation. So yeah, please just embarrass this guy. Every time he lies, every time his handlers stage another weekend at Bernie’s photo op, every time they try to pretend he’s the strong man he once playacted as on TV, call it out, mock it, expose it. That’s the point of this show.
