NASA Hatoka captured the 2025 Toto Japan Classic in a playoff as the event was shortened to just 54 holes due to unplayable course conditions and the upcoming forecast. I’m Adam Stanley and this is LPGA Now presented by Serpro. Here is a quick recap of the finale from Japan. With Hataoka and Una Iraqi tied following the conclusion of the third round, a playoff was held on number 18 to determine the winner. The par 518th was shortened to approximately 130 yards and played as a par three. Hatoka defeated Iraqi on the first playoff hole with a par and claimed her seventh career LPGA Tour title. This was Hatoka’s first win on the LPGA Tour since 2022 and with the victory she became the 28th different winner on the LPGA tour this season. Hatoka led the field with birdies this week and claimed the Toto Japan Classic for the second time in her career. Now the LPGA Tour heads back to the United States for its final two tournaments of the season, starting with the Anukica driven by Gamebridge at Pelican. You can catch that action on Golf Channel. We’ll be back with everything you need to know in the next LPGA Now presented by Surfro.

Nasa also finally breaks herwinless playoff record!! Shame it had to end the way it did, but she deserved the win for the stellar opening 54 holes!!
I thought araki won for a minute, but good Rds from NASA(60's) deserves the win although the playoff hole you would think someone birdies it… Congratulations 🎉 Nasa
Remarkable endurance and stamina by Nasa as well, having started this Asian swing marathon road trip from back in FL onto her first stop in Hawaii at the Lotte, eventually totaling five tournaments while logging over 23,000✈miles before landing back in FL.😴
There were 7 shots in the playoff – could you at least show them. God awful coverage here. Garbage product.
おめでとう🎉🎇💃🎇🎉
So good for NASA, now I hope she can go on and win a Major
Congratulations nasa hataoka
