Ausar Thompson gets honest on his matchup with Jalen Brunson in the playoffs last year.

you have the same matchup six times in a row. How informative was that for you? I watched a lot and I was like, I feel like I could have stopped him here. I could have stopped him here. I could have been more disciplined here. I could have been less aggressive here. I could have been more aggressive here. Just picking my spot. So, I watched that. I feel like I learned a lot from that. It was great, you know, to go against such a, you know, great offensive player. I mean, he was averaging like 30, you know, he has the ball a lot. So to just be in the action every time I’m on the court, you know, it was it was fun. And I took it as a challenge and I was, you know, I’m I’m going to make them work for these, you know, try and do it again this

I like this young mans attitude. Expecting major growth and a big jump this year from Ausar
Ausar will continue to become even better because he has the right attitude.
Who dribbling so hard in the background?
After the Series, Brunson came over and gave Ausar his props. Ausar really made Brunson work and during the payoffs you can tell many times Ausar frustrated him and he was glad whenever Ausar went to the bench. Dude was literally keeping count how many fouls he got and celebrated when Ausar picked up his 5th foul
Its not just on Ausar…. WE GOTTA DOUBLE THE HOT PLAYERS. Sound as a guy get in rhythm hit him with a hard foul or😊 double
Nigga thats too much 😂
Jalen may never score on this guy again😂
Good he's working defense. Yes he's a great defender. Elite. Can he play 34+ minutes without fouling out? Not currently.
Hes gonna be a two way superstar. Thank you Troy Weaver (for your drafting)
