Great Lever and Farnworth Golf Club – Hole 4 Flyover, Par 4 | Golf Drone Video in 4K
To sponsor this hole, give Andy Priestley a call on the number shown. He’d be delighted to hear from you. Now we’re safely across the road. We can see that hole four is a longish and straight par4 measuring some 377 yds off the white tea and 329 yds off the red tea. If the wind is blowing from the west, then this will tend to push your ball flight a bit further to the left. Out of bounds is all the way down the right hand side. So take note of that. That said, you should be looking at taking a driver or similar off the tee. Your ideal target zone is indicated here. Slight left of center of fairway is ideal for most medium to high handicap players. Your second shot to this one will be a full strike with a fairway wood or hybrid. The green is about 20 yards in depth and there are no bunkers guarding this one. So you can afford to get it up there for a chance of a good score on a relatively difficult hole by virtue of its length. The green is relatively flat in the middle section, but you’ll note it runs off on both the right and left hand edges. This can make your shot a little trickier, so line it up properly. An approach shot to the heart of the green on this one will rarely be a bad choice. Also, if you’re a bit short after two shots here, then a bump and run onto the green is often the best shot option, particularly on a windier day. So, there we are. With hole four under our belt, I’ll see you on the fifth. Great Lever and Farnworth Golf Club is proudly sponsored by Harrison’s Estate Agents. Your home, our expertise.
