The second day of matches at the 2025 Ryder Cup kick off Saturday, September 27, with eight more matches on the schedule at Bethpage Black in New York. Ryder Cup Saturday pairings and matchups will be unveiled Friday afternoon following the completion of the second session. Once they are released, they will be reproduced at the bottom of this post. Until then, here’s what we know.

How Ryder Cup Saturday matches are determined

Can Bryson DeChambeau, Scottie Scheffler and company forge a comeback for the American team on Saturday at the Ryder Cup? Or will Rory McIlroy and the European team march toward victory?

The second day at the 2025 Ryder Cup will include eight total matches, four matches in the morning session and four more in the afternoon, with eight more points up for grabs.

The format for Saturday’s morning session will be foursomes, with the first match getting underway at 7:10 a.m. ET Saturday morning. Then the match format will switch to four-ball for the afternoon session, as it did on Day 1.

Taking on rival DeChambeau would be ‘wonderful for championship’ – McIlroy

We don’t know which players will be involved in Saturday’s matches yet, but we do know roughly when we will find out.

Once play is finished in Friday’s second session, each captain, Keegan Bradley for the U.S. and Luke Donald for Europe, will choose their lineups for Saturday’s foursomes matches, with eight players from each team getting the nod in all.

Four players on each team will sit out Saturday’s morning session. And once those matches are complete, the captains will select their pairings for Saturday’s afternoon session.

You can watch the second day of the 2025 Ryder Cup on NBC, which will air exclusive TV coverage on Saturday from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. ET.
