I have all these lovely toys, but my space is not ready….
Long story short, I have a huge garage that I am storing a family members belongings while their house is getting renovated. It should’ve been done weeks ago, but it’s not even close to being finished.
I started on another shed, but the budgets ran dry to finish that off so now I’m stuck with all new toys and no space 🤣🤣🤣
Only the flooring left to get. Done on a lovely budget.

You’re supposed to put the horse before the cart.
I don’t think you have at all. You can use the projector to determine the best shape and aspect ratio for your simulator. I suggest you hang a temp screen, and plug in the projector and walk it around the screen until you get the picture you want. This will show you where the projector has to be in space, so you can tailor the enclosure or mount to give you what you want.
It may have a dramatic impact on how you set up the hitting enclosure and could impact design considerations.
FYI, I have an optima projector, and built the enclosure first. It was a pain to retro fit brackets to get the projector in the correct spot. Also, I went 4:3 1080p, in hind site, I would have gone 16:9 and 4k resolution. A bit more expensive, but it would’ve been far more immersive.
