PGA Tour pro Max Homa has confirmed he is back working with renowned instructor Mark Blackburn.
Homa made the decision to par ways with Blackburn just before the Presidents Cup in September 2024 and turned to John Scott Rattan following a below-par campaign.
He began that year off the back of his most impressive season to date, winning his sixth PGA Tour title and making his Ryder Cup debut for the United States in Italy.
He was undeniably one of the few bright sparks for Zach Johnson’s team at Marco Simone, contributing 3.5 points in their five-point defeat.

Homa began the 2024 season with a string of missed cuts and even split with his caddie on the eve of the annual Masters Tournament at Augusta National.
He later said Joe Greiner made the tough decision to call it quits so the pair could preserve their friendship.
Greiner jumped on Collin Morikawa’s bag but that partnership did not last long. Homa is currently between full-time caddies. Bill Harke has been carrying his sticks.
Homa began the year just inside the top 40 of the Official World Golf Ranking but has now slipped to 127th.
Had Homa not secured a win at Torrey Pines in 2023 then he would be among those fighting to keep hold of his card over the next few weeks.

In a bid to change his fortunes, Homa has now confirmed he is back with Blackburn after the coach was “kind enough” to take him back.
Rumours surfaced about the reunion a few weeks ago but Blackburn declined to comment.
Homa confirmed the news on his personal Instagram page alongside a few clips of him working hard on his game at the range.
“Excited to say @blackburngolf was kind enough to rejoin the team so we got some work in yesterday,” he wrote.
