Convincing a Stranger to Play Golf With Me in Ireland

What’s the lowest round you’ve ever shot? It’s not as low as it should be. It’s 6 under 66. Six under. [Music] Today we’re in Dublin, Ireland, a country known for its rain, its pubs, and people who talk to strangers like their old friends. Tim, Benji. We’re here on a golf trip. We don’t just want to play by ourselves. We want to meet real local people and find out what golf in Ireland is really like. So, here’s the challenge. By tomorrow morning, we each need to find a complete stranger to join us for a 2v2 five-hole match. Team Benji versus team. If we can’t convince anyone, by tomorrow morning, there’s no video, no match, and this entire trip to Ireland is basically a ride-off. And to make it interesting and hopefully a little bit easier for us, the stranger on the winning team is going to get a $100 maid voucher. Our tea time is booked for less than 24 hours from now. And it’s a Thursday night, so we’re going to have to find someone to take off work tomorrow. This is not going to be easy. him. Good luck, Benji. Let’s do it. Okay, so we just finished filming the intro that you just saw outside one of the most famous pubs in Dublin, preparing ourselves for a long night of asking strangers when this happened. Sorry, we’re filming a video. Is it all right if you’re on camera? Oh, yeah. No problem. Yeah. Where are you from here? Yeah. Are you working at the time? Yeah, we own this. Yeah. Yeah. No way. Nice to meet you. I thought there were water sticks coming out. I got the seven. Do you play golf yourself? I do. Big golfer. Yeah. What are you doing tomorrow? What am I doing tomorrow? We explained the video challenge and learned that Tom’s family actually owns the pub, but unfortunately he said, “I can’t. I’m not available tomorrow.” Which is fair enough, as his wife was pregnant. A few moments later. So, you’re in? I’m in. Yeah. We We found one within 10 minutes. Who Who would you want to play with, by the way? Me. So, it’s me against him. And so, we each need to find a stranger. So, you’ve got to pick one of us. What are you doing? I’m better. Okay. I was like, I’m glad. It’s just dawning on me that now it’s purely on me to make this video happen. So, that was I don’t know 10 times faster than anyone could have imagined us finding a stranger here. Literally, we’re filming the intro and as we’re filming the intro, the guy comes up to us and asks us to go for this. We’ve asked ne like we’ve asked negative people. We’ve not asked anyone and and and and we we have been asked. He did start off with like I’ve got work tomorrow and then he thought about it for a bit. He’s like, I could probably play golf. All right, I’m not going to lie, this is [ __ ] Reality was starting to hit Benji. So, I guess the rest of this video is just going to be me asking people in the streets of Dublin. Wish me luck. So, we headed out to Dublin and Benji started to ask everyone. Or did he? I think we might be lit off towards that way more. So, we’ve been standing here for 10 minutes now. Benji’s still not asked a single person. just standing there. Isn’t my mic plugged in? Is my mic plugged in? It’s been uh it’s been 30 minutes since we found my teammate. Benji hasn’t asked anyone yet. He’s being all shy about it. And finally, two girls. Please talk to them. Sorry. Quick question, guys. Do you play golf by any chance? No. You don’t? No. Not at all. Okay. See you. Is he doing it? He did it. He did it. What did I say? No, obviously. Uh, hey guys. Sorry. Quick question. Do you play golf by any chance? Excuse me guys, quick question. Do you play golf by any chance? Not at all. [Music] Cuz we have girls like good at what you do. I’m trying to probably put this away now. I’m trying to find a stranger to play golf with me in Dublin. Definitely not me. No, no, no. Why not? I played a fiddle. The fiddle. I played the cake club a couple of weeks ago. Okay. How’d that go? Not very well. Well, guess what? We’re playing tomorrow. The scramble. Where? Uh the the Island Golf Club or something. The Island Golf Club. See again I’m not It sounds like you played golf last week. So now you’re playing music here tonight. Right now. Right now you’re not Which Which Which are you in? This one. Are you playing right now? Yes. Can we come in? Can we come film you playing something? You can’t play golf. We always knew the Irish were going to be friendly, but this one took even us by surprise. He actually is quite good at playing that instrument. Bro, he was like midset just walked outside to talk to us and he was like he was like, I’ve got to go right now. And then he walked in and just jumped into the music. How you doing, boys? Good. And you? Very good. Great work. Uh, London. London. We live in London. Yeah. London. Where you from? Uh, New Zealand. Welcome all the way from New Zealand. I love it. Cheers. Cheers. Splitting the G attempt number three. Nick’s involved. going to songs I like. I still haven’t found overshot. Undersot. He’s like he’s three and0. [Applause] After this eventful side quest, it was time to get back out there and find a stranger. When he said he plays a fiddle, did anyone know what that instrument meant? Cuz I was like, you know why she played a fiddle in an Irish band? You got to make sure to keep that in. Guys, it’s a it’s a chorus. Anyway, do you play golf by any chance? No. You don’t play golf? Okay, have a good day. Okay, I got a new plan. I got a new plan. Tim’s not talking to anyone. We’ll go to a pub that way. Get a drink or we go back to the pub with a guy with a beard. And then we go to the one that Nick said is going to be like super busy later tonight down towards the river. So, your plan is to go to two different pubs and have beers. Yeah. He’s like, I wish I could just Instagram DM someone again. After a few poor attempts by Benji, it was time to check out some local cuisine. Seriously in trouble. You You’re not talking to anyone. Need to find a teammate. I need to find a teammate. At this point, we’ve been asking for over an hour and no one wanted to play. It started to feel like this might actually be the first Cheeky Golf Club video that doesn’t work. As if the challenge wasn’t hard enough to begin with, we gave an extra rule to Benji that his stranger had to be a girl. Mostly to make the video more inclusive, but also to see Benji struggle. But then this happened. Trying. We have no idea what’s going on, but but we have no idea what’s happening right now. Benji was like, “Hey, I’m just going to go inside.” And I talked to a girl in the queue to the toilet. I’m just going to ask if she plays golf. I’m going I’m going in. Ty’s going in now. Hi there. She’s considering I just met a girl in the line for the bathroom at Starbucks and I asked her if she plays golf. She does not, but she’s quite pretty. And I asked her if she might be down to like learn and like give it a go for a fun story. And I think she’s going to consider. I’m going to send her a video now from what we did in Sweden. Where was she from? She’s from France. And I’m like, “Where you from?” And she’s like, “France.” And Benji’s like, “Hi, Benji.” And then they and then they they go on a French tangent and I uh I can tell she was in French isn’t that great. What, bro? She was like, “No, she was like pulled out.” Okay. We have been in central Dublin for the last couple hours. Not that much luck. So now we’re going to take the same strategy that Tim took in our last video and we’re going to go to the local golf simulator because hopefully there’s people that play golf there who will say yes. What do you think, Tim? Imagine having one original thought. So we headed to the golf simulator searching for a miracle. We’re looking for strangers to play golf with tomorrow. And then one of them said something we didn’t expect. We’re looking for one guy and one girl. Um, and we’ve already found the guy. So, we’re just looking for the second spot. What about Libby? Libby is a staff member at pitch. She’s a plus two handicap and played college golf in America. If you can, you can message her and see if she’s interested in playing golf. I mean, is she working tomorrow? Tomorrow. What if we give pitch a shout out in the video? She would be the perfect teammate if she said yes. So, they gave us her number and Benji stepped outside to give her a call. [Music] What’s up, Libby? How are you? Okay, the story is we’re filming this video right now where we were planning on coming to Dublin to find strangers to play golf with. And the the goal is always to find one guy and one girl. And it took us like 20 seconds to find a guy. And then we were like rolling around for a couple hours and then we went to pitch and then we met your manager who was like, “Oh my god, you guys should play with Libby. She just left and gave us your number.” So that’s where we are now. So my question is, are you free to play tomorrow afternoon? Yeah. Well, my mom said I am. So I am. We couldn’t believe it. Tomorrow was officially on. Okay. Thank you so much. Talk to you tomorrow. Bye. J GoPro community. If you think this is cheating, let us know in the comments below. Comment justice for Tim. Big ups. We will see you tomorrow. Now we just need to hope that she actually shows up. Now and actually now to celebrate one more pint of Guinness. A little bit of an Irish dance. Actually, hang on. Let’s have an early night. I just want to let it go tonight. [Music] Hey. Hey. Yeah. Yeah. Hey. Hey. Yeah. Yeah. That didn’t exactly go to plan. How are we feeling, Timmy? Good. Ready to lose your match today? Uh, I I actually am uh not super confident. You guys look a very good partner. It’s match day. The two strangers said yes, but will they actually show up? We arrived at the golf course, but still hadn’t heard anything from our guests. Can you just tell how nervous are you right now? Not that nervous. I’m uh pretty confident that she is going to show up. And don’t put don’t put on an act. Tell us how nervous. You know, in Sweden, it’s the same thing. It’s like it feels a little bit like you’re before an exam that you didn’t really study for. It’s like a weird nervous. It’s like I’m pretty sure I’ll be okay, but like you don’t actually care about the grade. Yeah. And I think I’ll pass, but like I’m not like super prepared. Tom arrived first. Welcome. Thank you very much. That’s the That’s the big thing. We’re always like, “How are you?” Good. How you doing? Good. Few too many Guinness last night. Did you really? Yeah. Yeah. We’re girls together, too. We were actually We were drinking at your pub. Some of you guys might be asking, why are we even doing this? Like, why are we going around asking strangers in different cities to play golf with us? And what we love about golf is when we go out and we meet a complete stranger at a golf course and you spend time with them and you realize how much fun you’re having with them. and you make a new friend, even if it’s just for a couple hours. And we want to share exactly that experience with you guys. And so, we hope by showing you guys, by being spontaneous, by getting other people to be spontaneous and joining us, you’re a little bit inspired to go to your golf course and play with random strangers and meet some new people and enjoy the game of golf because that’s what it’s really about. So, I know that’s what we’re doing. The tea time was fast approaching and Libby was still not here. We went to the range to hit some balls while we waited. Well, Liy’s not here yet. We’ve got another 20 minutes till tea time. I was looking pretty dialed. So, uh, just going to keep practicing by myself for now, I guess. And then she arrived. Okay, nice to meet you. Very nice to meet you. Thank you so much for coming. Tim, so nice to meet you. Ben, Nick, and Tom your opponent for today. I have very high hopes for you. Do I have a handicap? No, I It’s off the stage. We’ll go off the stick cuz we’re He You’re up six and I’m like 6.7. Benji’s up 13. And we heard great things about I should I need to be suiting my my Were they Did they tell you to wear They did. All right, time to play some golf at this incredible course. [Music] We’re at Island Golf Club today. So, yesterday we found our two strangers. We’ve got Benji and Libby versus Tim and Tom. H rules are real simple. It’s going to be a 2v2 scramble match play. Best of five holes. That’s all I’ve got to say, guys. Good luck. Good luck, Benji. Good luck, Liby. Good luck. Best of luck out there. Good luck, Liby. All right, we’ll go first. First up, we’ve got a 418 yard par4 with a fairway that bottlenecks right before the green. Lovely shot. Fairway finder. That’s what I told you. That’s what I can do for you. It’s pretty short though. I don’t need to hit. Take it. Oh sh Oh, we’re so good. Do you think should I go first or you? I don’t know. What’s your What’s your tendency here? Take it. My I’m just like the loose cannon. I’m not like very likely to find the fairway here. Okay, you go. Stay. Oh, okay. Oh, Benji, those everybody’s eyes. Okay, I think it’s at the bottom of the hill. Yeah, I think it’s in the bottom of that hill, so it might be okay. Like I almost I feel like I pulled my hamstring again doing that shot. My whole body tensot injury excuses. Uhoh. Go right. Go right. That’ll it okay? It probably kick a little bit right from there. I don’t know. We’ll find that one. We’ll find one of them. We’ll find one of them. For the record, I’ve put 10 quid on team TT. Tim and Tom 100% taking this. Not the start we wanted. That’s not hot. Not a hot start. I did want to ask you, um, we were we were at obviously Temple Bar yesterday where we met you. Yeah. Which is your family business, correct? Um, October 16th. Is that a little early for Christmas lights? How’d you know the Christmas? We always do it like we’re busy, you know, year round. Uh this is probably the quietest week before kind of the rush of of Christmas. Yeah. So it’s easier to get done. Do you want to give us a quick intro to like your golfing background? You’re American, but you have Irish family. So my dad’s a golf addict and I grew up playing every other sport but golf. And then when I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. And uh that was when I was 12 years old. And then I You played in college? Played in college. Yeah. I played competitive. went to Texas Tech. Best best university in the world, I have to say. Is it? Yeah. Um, but no, it was some great golfers there. Levig was there for my first two years. Love Alber. Yeah. Yeah. So, I got to watch. Have you played with Ludwick Alber? I’ve practiced with him quite a bit. I did a chipping competition with him. I was probably the only reason he’s ever lost a chipping competition. You beat Ludwick Albert in a chipping competition? No. No. I was on his team. Ah, we haven’t lost any balls, which is great news. That’s all I want to say for now. Minor set back, major comeback. 207. [ __ ] Uphill, I’d say a bit. Uh Tim, can I have your 3-wood? High stress straight out. Good shot. Go. Okay. Yeah. About 30 yards short, bro. I’m just happy I didn’t top it. I’m not going to lie. Yeah, it’s a good line. Go. Yeah, I think just short of the green short as well. Yeah, that was a long way up there. We’ve got 190 to the flag. Yeah, we’ll just try and get one up there. If we can make paw in this first hole, I think we we’ll win it. Yeah. Okay. Oh, that’s drawing too, huh? It’s trying. Let’s have a look. Just pushed it. Yeah. Settle for right. Yeah, that’s the next T I think. Is it? I don’t know if they heard that. That was very quiet. We shouted it though. Nice. I could not have hit that any harder, I don’t think. And it was only 207. Fully ran over the studio. Yeah. Honestly, it’s not much of a munchness between us and them. Actually, short game is going to be uh top notch. Oh, I’m on. Okay. Go, go, go. Yeah, I can put make a I think I will putt though. Okay, just do exact same punch. Just just harder. Go, go, go. It’s better. Okay. Well, good thing we have yours. That’s slightly better, right? Oh, it’s pretty much the same. I think you need to go where Casper is on the right. I’m thinking even further. Do you see like the little leaf just right of him there? I think starting it out there and giving it a good good hit as well. It’s all about pace really, isn’t it? That could be good. Get in. Oh, it didn’t break. didn’t break as much as we thought. That’s That’s I mean, yeah, some people would give us that. We We’ll let him stress over it. Let them stress over it for while we put Are we Are we making this? Yeah. That’s too soft. No. Now it’s messed under. Yeah. Joe, if you Oh, it’s actually rolled quite a bit. Does this bring memories back from going one down last time we did this? We’re not. Can I be even more nerdy? Yeah. Right edge. Let’s do right edge. Okay. Okay, that’s fine. It is right edge though. Just put a marker on there. Just aimed the cup right. Okay. Oh my god, that’s so unlucky. That’s Wow, you guys need to win this hole. Yeah. Well done. Well done. Damn it. That’s close. That’s such good teamwork as well. Only need two more holes to win. Well, we can’t we can’t go down anymore. We’re not going down anymore. Yeah. But Libby, I have a question for you. Yeah. What’s the lowest round you’ve ever shot? It’s not as low as it should be. It’s 6 under 66. But it’s also six under. Yeah. But it’s also my only bogeyree round I’ve ever had. Awesome. You’ve had a bogey? Yeah. And it was that it’s hard. Tom just told me that next week he’s flying to Greenland to run an Arctic marathon. He’s going to run 42 km in Greenland in like freezing conditions. A big run, eh? No, not at all. I have I’ve never done a marathon before. You’ve never done a marathon? Never done a marathon. No, I’ve done a couple of halves. That’s Yeah, I thought you were spontaneous coming to play golf, but you’re taking a bit too far. Yeah, I know. I’m trying to get everything out of my system before before January. Uh hole number two. We’ve got a 368 yd par4 slight dog leg to the left with pop bunkers protecting the green. [Music] There you go. That’s not good. Okay, the pressure’s on. It’s actually okay. Is it? Pressure is on team TT. Oh, no. Oops. Okay, that’ll do you reckon there’s space? I did not see that come down. I’m just going to aim it quite far left and hope it goes over that big hump. [Music] Snipe the guy. Is it line there? Okay, I saw it bounce. I mean, it’s not the pretty stuff. No. There we go. That’s the one. It’s the golfer in the group. Yeah. That was a big difference between the first two. Okay, she’s back. That’s almost the green, by the way. Okay, she’s back. We should find Oh, hi. She’s by the green, I guess. Is it a drivable one? For you it is, apparently. Did they make you change your golf tile as well? Yeah, they did. What? Yeah. No, they they made me put this pitch golf. Really? Yeah. I guess I just let explain for context. So Libby works for pitch and they were like you can take the afternoon off if you wear a pitch t-shirt and put a pitch gulp on your back which I like kind of respect but they’re also not paying her to be here. So well now they’ll think about it. Quickly blur this for 10 seconds. We’ve got my ball 172 to the flag straight down window. I mean, that wasn’t pretty t-shot of us, but No. Uh, if we hit the green, we’ll be we’ll still not lose the hole, I think. [Music] On line. Yeah. A bit chunky. Yeah. Oh, okay. There’s one ball. Sure. A bit chunky, wasn’t it? The wind’s kind of turning a bit, isn’t it? Oh, right. Again. It’s okay as well. It’s just we’re going to have to go up and down. 75 yds. What What’s the play for a professional? I’m going to land at like 70. Spin left. That’s way too short. That was a lot of sand when you Okay. It’s way too short. We have a We’re on the green though. Yeah. Go. Looking pretty good. Oh. Oh, it’s tough. Oh, door’s open. There’s there’s there’s hope. It’s like a little a little opening. I thought I hit that I tried to hit that 70. I thought I hit that 70. Settle slow. Nice. Yeah. Do you know what? Um Sorry, Tim. No, no, don’t don’t be sorry. I actually think I’m going to put it. You going to put it? You think I just straight at it? Uh left side. I think it’s going to break in left to right big time. Oh, dude. Oh, what happened? I took a divot. We’re making tough for work at this. Throw back, Libby. Oh my god. We have to go again. We We’ve got a tough decision to make now. Take take the putter for the percentage play and then duff the putter. Where’s this? How’s this going to break, Libby? I think it’s going right. Turn. Turn. Turn. Doesn’t go right. A little bit. Okay. Another nailbiter. [Music] Go out of my misery. Yeah. Holy [ __ ] Oh, okay. I lifted my hand. Really good. Really good. Okay, so this is good. That’s a par. You have to make this one. Yeah. No problem. No problem. I’m devastating from this distance. Devastating or devastated? [Music] You know what? Really nice. Really a good attempt. I mean, if you’re lucky, that’s going to be a double bogey. All right, we’re back to even, right? We had a tough hole. We’re back to even tough hole for the team T. Team TT. We’re being asked about the Made stuff. Um, and we’re just saying that it’s from the reason we went to Sweden on the the first time was to go visit the Made office. Um, because we love their clothes. And Li was Libby was just saying that she likes some of their stuff. I like it. So, and I’m just saying that she’s going to get a $100 voucher today cuz we’re a lot and I’m just a struggling 20-year-old. I need this. Yeah, you need this. Well, we’re doing our very best to give it to you. Did you see what we’re doing? You clearly see on the last hole. And here we have a 500yard par five along the beautiful Irish coastline. Oh, stay. Wind’s kind of pushing it left a bit, isn’t it? I’m going to leave my head at the wind and say you’re not going to use that one, though. Oh, good job. What a shot. Which one do you recommen? Which one are we using, Libby? I I like that one, but we can think. We can think about it. All right, Tim. And this is our redemption hole. Yeah, at least we were absolutely shocking on the same hole. Oh, come back. It’s trying. If we’re deeming Benji’s good, then that’s better. Is that in the bunker? No. Very well short. Okay. Yeah. So, it’s fine there. It’s fine. I think it came back on the fairway. Yeah. Yeah. Nice. That’s drawing. It is drawing. Fine. There’s no rock there. Drawing from the left side, bouncing away. I see it. It’s okay. Come on. Wind’s trying. It bent. I think it’s okay. Is that all right, Benji? I I lost it. Yeah, that’s fine. Safe. That’s not great. Benji’s going driver off the deck. Oh. Oh, that was actually good. Yeah. Cut. Cut. Cut. I think. Oh, I got on. Yeah, that’s really good. I think that’s really good. No, that that was well that was perfect. Nick try to stop me from doing this. He tries to stop me every single time I do. Good job. It’s one and 10. Not even one and 10. That’s so good. That’s even better. Stay drifting left. Left bunker. Yeah, I thought it bounced. Have you uh watched any other golf YouTube before? Is like how do how how do like actually good golfers in college feel about like the emergence of golf YouTube being a thing? I think it’s I think it’s cool. I mean it’s just crazy that how many people how much more respect look in your shot. I think that’s good. Okay. How much more respect there is for golf and appreciate like since co and since all these YouTube golfers did come about. I I think it’s really good and people actually think it’s cool that I play golf whereas in high school they were like, “Oh, you play golf or that’s so weird.” 56. Uh Tim 56. Yeah. Need to stop it fairly quickly, too. Right. You flopping? Yeah. I’m going to go with the 60. [Music] Oh, that could be good. Sit. Sit. Come down the hill. Come down the hill. Yeah. Pretty good. Thank you. Get up. Get up. No, I was trying to just nip it in there. Ah, take yours. I mean, we we both missed the green from 60 yards. This is a hard slip. Everything about this is actually quite hard. There’s nothing flat about this. He didn’t hit us, did he? Wait, I was so wrong. No, you’re right about that. Okay, it was right there. That’s good. That’s good. Takes the pressure off. [ __ ] It’s actually like me. Yeah. [Music] Go. Ah, go. That’s probably going to get down the hill, too. No. Okay. Yeah. I mean, it’s also really good. Putting is probably the way there. Is that good? Yeah. Good birdie, lads. Well done. Thank you. Thank you. We got to hold this. Okay. A couple new techniques here, too. It’s probably a bit fast. Let’s say it was a That might have been okay if it wasn’t so hard. Oh, that’s something I might ride on. Ah, I actually generally think that was going online. We win at hole. We go up one. Hole three. We’ve got a 137 yd par three. Two pot bunkers just short of the green and an ocean breeze the whole way through. Wind’s got Yeah, that’s going to go left. [Music] Short. Yeah, pretty good. Good distance. Just missed the left. Oh, same shot. Same shot as well. We just have to hit the green. Yeah, we just need Oh, it’s actually gotten a decent kick. Oh, it came back. That’s actually Oh, it’s gotten so lucky. She knows this course well. You’re lucky. Yeah, look at the Irish. Whoa. I mean, it’s kind of sick, not going to lie. Okay, Tim, €10 if you hit him. He’s kind of in shank territory now. [Music] Oh, that perfect. Go on, wind. Go on, wind. Oh, what a shot. Thank you. It’s not too far. That was eight. That was an eight. Oh. Oh, that could be good. No, it’s too big. Wind’s got a bit. I think it’s too big. Yeah. Should hit the nine, you know. Um, how long has your family run? Um, a year older than me. So Tom, my dad, he uh he bought that pub in ’92. Yeah. 1992. And like that area was totally derelictked. Really? Yeah. Like I mean it it kind of has the look of a like an old town European city. Yeah. The cobblestones and all that. But no, it was only kind of became what it is, you know, in the last maybe 20 years, like 10 years was development and laying the cobbles and and you know, it was a combination of, you know, pub owners and restaurant guys coming in and uh turning it into Dublin’s cultural porter. This is actually an easier putt than yours. That’s a crazy take. No, I like this one. This is gonna How much is this gonna break? I feel a lot going this way right here. Like like your right foot? Yeah. Like I think you’re it’s going to break. It’s going to come off this hill about right here and go down. So I think good speed up to here. Come on. Come on. Come on. Do it. Do it. Do it. Oh Jesus. That would have been game. That would have been done. Too hard. Turn, turn, turn. Oh god, they were too good. They are good putts. We’re going to have to look at them though. I could miss left. Did you start it on the line? Right line. M pulled it a tiny bit maybe. See, it it did just a That was good. I felt good about that. That could be in. didn’t break. This is probably too Is this good? No. Well, I mean, you’re way outside of ours, so No. You go first. I I trust. Is this ours good? Sure. We’re nice people. And this is just straight down the middle, right? Yeah. Nice. Yeah. Well done. I wanted to give it to him and like in his back. You’ve got the honors. You won up with one to play. So you we need to win this hole or else we lose. You have to put it right next to it. Does anybody want some birdie juice before the next shot? I’ll have I’ll have a swiggle. Those are the ones you got us yesterday. No, these aren’t proies. They’re drink. This is going to be the the key factor to winning this. So we need to bring it to a playoff. This is family business. This is a family business whiskey. Yeah. So in one go. You don’t have to do the whole thing. No, just I was going to say you can sip away for the whole hole, but it’s going to We needed to. How do you How do you say cheers in Irish? Slancher. Slancher. Like I should know that label. Slancher, lads. Slancher, thank you very much. Thank both of you guys for joining us. Thanks for having us. Thank you. Next up, we’ve got hole number five. A 375 yd par4 slight dog leg to the right. It’s stroke index two. And Livy’s team with Benji supporting needs a draw to win the entire match. Caught. Oh, it’s not cutting. OB OB. [Music] Caught. I mean, draw it. It looks pretty good. We to be fair, we have no idea. We have no idea. Yeah, it looks good, though. I think it’s good. I feel like I feel like if anything, it’ll just kick down. Good in my book. You guys want to ret just just for the just for your happiness? That’s also good. Yeah, good shots. Definitely good. Damn, they’re showing up here. Okay. Yeah. I mean, I I was I think that’s fairway. Good. Yeah. Thank you. You know what? That could work. We know it’s there. I just have no sense of how far that hill is. By the way, uh Tim yesterday was saying, “How good is how good is Irish?” Oh, I had a lot of Guinness last night. I don’t know if Nick wants me to do it, but I’m not going to fall for that trap. Give us a give us a sample. The the thing is I I do love Dublin. It’s 140 to the front though, so probably a eight iron. You want to What are you going to hit first? I have an eight. Yeah, you hit that and I’ll shoot. You hit it. That’s probably OB. Shut up. [Music] Go. Go. Left. That’s right. Oh, you’re on. Sit. Over the back. Went over the back. Yeah. Right. It’s a huge opportunity. They will they they will still get up and down though. Hard look. [Music] Oh, that could be very good. Sit down. Sit down. Sit down. Sit. Oh, a little bit. Just It’s on. You know what? That’s not bad. round thing. Nice. They’re using the whiskey bottle as a team marker. Go get up. Get up. Roll. Go. Oh, you know, both of those are not bad. That’s not bad. Thought it would run a bit more if I just Yeah, they’re not bad, but they’re also not good. Damn. This is actually a bit of a nailbiter here. Benji’s not getting up and down. It’s just like It’s just why they’re not living well. What What Tim say? I said you’re not going to get up and down. Libby will though, maybe. So, watch. Oh, that’s a good shot. That’s it. Okay, that’s a good shot. I I stand by it, though. Go. We have a chance. I think yours I think. Yeah, I think so, too. I think um I think playing for par is almost a play here. Okay, I’m just going to I’m going to just get just get a Rono nicely. Yeah. Come on. Get there. Get there. See, it’s coming back. It actually broke a little left, but that’s okay, though. I mean, that’s that’s that in the bag. Break. Oh, it broke a lot. So, you got to chill out with what you tell the ball to do here. Yeah. Basically, it’s telling me about here. Okay. How you lose? That was pretty close. This is to win the match. No, we got a hold. They still have to hold it. They still have to hold it. Yeah. Well done. Well done. You know what? That’s a good porn. I won. I say too. All right. Chip off. Right. Me as uh head of operations. I want to pick the spot where they’re going to start uh chipping from. Use that one. I’m going to say right here. Actually, it’s all good. It’s pretty flat. This is the chip off. Whoever gets it closest to the pin wins the match. Pump it up there. Hit it. Oh, I’m sorry. I’ve been so bad today. Pure. All right. We pretty much have a hold on that thing. Yeah. That’s pretty good. That’s pretty good. That’s pretty good. Oh, how are we? Do I lost? GG. You didn’t even need it. I was It was team Benji, not Te. 1. Do you guys end up playing a full 18 with the guests? But only film the 5 hole match?
Just wondering because they seem like great people would be a shame to limit them to 5 holes

  2. "We want to play with some locals" then proceed to stay in an exact area where locals don't go and then play with an American…. hmmmm

  3. Having the owner of the biggest bar in Ireland and a company with €30m+ annual turnover for this is some clout! 😂Hope you guys and Pitch both looked after Libby for being a good sport.

  4. I'm Irish, thank you so much for calling out The Temple Bar on the early christmas lights lol.

  5. Temple bar was derelict in 1992?! Absolute BS. It wasn't always an over priced tourist trap, that's all that changed.

  6. It would have been far easier to find someone to play with if you weren’t in the Temple Bar area. It’s a shitty tourist trap, very few Irish people would go there.

  7. Great video. Those Flemings are great golfers. I've lost a few quid to Libbys Dad over the years !!!

  8. i honestly love this youtube golf thing, watching people who are good still not hitting every shot perfect like PGA is so inspiring to keep at it.

  9. Temple bar is a shit hole. it's an overpriced tourist trap, no Irish person in there right mind would be paying over 10€ for a pint.😮

  10. Never watch golf videos tbh but this was very good couldnt find 2 nicer people play a round with pub owner seemed but of a crack and libby seemed same good work
