This is one way of using it by placing the white tee attached to the string in the ground, this prevents the main tee from straying to far making it easy to find each time

You can also I believe place the white tee inside the blue tee so when you hit the magnetic part then that supposedly just comes off and leave the normal tee in place but I need to try that still
