here with my boy Parker and we’re going to talk about tempo in short game because I see way too many amateurs getting really slow in the takeaway and then kind of have to create speed or panic and well jerk it in the down swing. My boy John has an app called poor tempo that I use a lot and it’s just there there. It’s just to help you guide your tempo and we tried some earlier here and you’re a perfect 168 in the short game. Talk to us a little bit about tempo and what you believe is important. I think a lot of it has to do with grip pressure. A lot of it has to do with what muscles are you using. Are you using these small fast twitch muscles or are you using bigger muscles that are a little bit sort of slower twitch? I’ve heard from the guys that sort of measure it at at sensor edge. They say that Bryson’s grip pressure is stronger or tighter on his wedge than it is with his driver. So the driver, he’s trying to create what? A lot of lag, release, and throw. Right. Yeah. With his wedge, he’s trying to be here. he gets as tight as he can so that he can then use his body to go back and through. Once you’re able to take away some of the small muscles and how much they have to do with your motion, then you can use your bigger muscles, which gets you on the right tempo. Interesting stuff there. That’s why Parker is the real deal. Feel a little bit stronger grip pressure and feel like you can really match up to those beats and you’ll be good to
