Now, some skeptics think this is because he names himself the champion no matter who wins. Either way, he’s actually a pretty good golfer. a little bit of an unorthodox swing. Sort of like an inflatable tube man at the used car lot, but it goes straight. Here are 10 times he competed in highprofile tournaments over the years, but didn’t capture the trophy. Number one, the 1986 Masters. Trump finished tied for 12th. Jack Nicholas won at age 46, but Trump was right there until disaster struck on Amen Corner. Uh, I was playing the best golf anyone had ever seen at Augusta, probably ever. Then on the 12th hole, a birdie, a bird, definitely a Democrat bird dropped something right as I was swinging. The marshall saw it. Everyone saw it. Jack’s a friend, great guy, but he knows I had him. Plus, they served me a tuna sandwich at the turn that was clearly off. You can’t play championship golf with bad tuna.
