Doug Klein. This was a birdie putt to get to nine under par and in a share of second spot. In it goes. Also plays out of Royal Melbourne. Very much like Sanchez to get him two under for his round early. Yeah, Doug Klein headed on this par five green in two. Thank you very much. A nice birdie for him. Now here’s our overnight leader Matias Sanchez. It’s his approach shot into the opening hole. Nice T-shot finding the fairway. What a way to start. Exactly what you want to do when holding the lead in a golf tournament. He would go on to make that for an opening birdie and to extend. Now on the second hole, Queenslander Dylan Hart drove it beautifully in the fairway. Only a short par four this one here. A wonderful pitch to set up his birdie. Almost danced it in for an eagle, too. Adam Bland, the lefty here. This was an eagle putt. Tall West Australian Hayden Baron coming off a tied sixth at the WA Open last week. Good to see him back playing competitive golf after about six months out of action through injuries. Looking caddyy for Hayden Baron there, too. We’ll have to look closely at that throughout the day. Now Matias Sanchez the leader. This his t-shot at the par three third one under par through two holes and just throwing darts. He’s seen no sign of nerves here. This the birdie putt on the third right in the bottom. Now Doug Klein has had an adventurous front nine and this was for another birdie on eight that got him four under for the day. is 24y old Cameron Harlock. He has a degree in finance from Boston College. There’s a flop shot from over the back of the par five fourth. Yeah, an easy birdie for her. And Cameron Harlock again, a New Zealander agree in finance. Well, he’s smarter than me and probably putts better than me too. Let’s have another look at our leader, Matias Sanchez. Two birdies in the first three holes. This his third at the par five fourth. Could he knock this close? Maybe get another one. certainly can. Best way to back up a birdie is to close on the next hole. Only a short par three, the fifth hole here at Wonga. Mr. Gap wedge spinning that back beautifully. And he would roll that in for his third birdie in five holes. A plethora of Americans out here playing our season this year. One of them being Ty Gingrich who’s coming off a good finish in WA a couple of weeks ago. A long birdie putt at nine. Drano maybe not just a sand wedge in hand and it’s another exceptional shot setting up another birdie opportunity when we do eventually come back. Now, Adam Bland, the left-hander, 128 m this par three today with a back right pin. That’ll set up. Oh, dancing around the hole. I was going to say that’ll set up perfect for a lefthander. Sanchez, you saw his little pitch down to here. He’s got this left for birdie. He’s rolling it well, isn’t it? This is some seriously good golf from the final group. They’ve both gone out in four under par 32. Pure roll. Oh, and that was never missing, was it? That was as pure as it gets. I don’t think these greens have slowed up at all, by the way, cuz that just kept rolling and rolling. Our second at 11 for Cameron Harlock. He was a 54hole leader at the New Zealand PGA earlier this year. Oh, flirting with danger there. And look at this one. Come on. Come on down. Not even plan B. I think that was plan C that one, but it’s worked out. And this is a week or weekend as we know now that spin on the ball is probably not the best idea. Let’s see if he can clean up for his par though. Oh, well done. That was a big putt. Clutch putt for Sanchez. A m for a moment there. where it looked like there was a very real possibility his lead lead may be trimmed to just one stroke. We go back to Sanchez. Another pass save here. Yep. Well done. He more than anyone does not want to continue having to make those full par. Dan’s playing alongside Cameron Harlock would have got a good idea of what club to use and he’s taken advantage. Certainly has. Nick, what a cracking shot winner. I’ll come back to that point in a minute. Now Sanchez buck a shot at 13. Yeah, beautifully play. why maybe he didn’t perform as well as he would have liked to because those events lend themselves to aggressive play as we chen Baron hello gets within one more of Matias Sanchez Harlock needs to get to 11 under should be a nice smooth gap wedge Matias Oh. Oh, come on. He might have a second bite of the cherry here. See the rain starting to come down again. Well done, Barbs. Couple over par today. Fantastic supporter of the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia. This is Cameron Harlock at 17. He’s making a late run here. Couple of birdies to get him to 11 under and that one to get to 12 and just three back. Yeah, well done. Extends his lead back to two strokes and that was much needed. You got to manage your way through. Now Harlock, he gets another birdie. He’s making a late charge here on day three. And loves playing playing that power fade, doesn’t he? Just rarely see any of these top players hit a draw with the driver anymore. All I can say is I wish I had a golf swing like that. Pretty effortless there. Ball will be landing on a slight down slope. So contact important. This one looks really good. Oh, what a golf shot. Beautifully done from Sanchez. Perhaps a little bit of right to left about this. Oh, it’s another good stroke, isn’t it? Oh, he’s come up clutch the last two holes. How big will this momentum be going into Sunday? Our leader on 18, Sanchez, Trackman by Challenger Ding down the left, Nick. Well, I hope if the uh Trackman is Yes. Okay, it’s gotten through. He’s been really good with these wedges this week. Ah, it’s another cracking shot. Yeah, he he was a little off color on this back nine early on with the wedges, but the last three holes Oh, it actually didn’t move at all. It looked like it had to. That’s a great fight back the last few holes for Matias Sanchez.

Willunga Golf Course, not Wonga Park.
Nice to have some coverage but to go to all that trouble and not even mention what course it's at 😒
