  1. The hype for Coca is leading to her demise–don't you see? The pressure of expectation, the fawning of the Left and deranged feminists and the propping up of her "blackness" will eventually have her in a fetal position blowing bubbles. 70 mph serves and erratic forehands are mere snacks for top 30 players and they will eat Coco's lunch. Give the girl space to breath and she will become the player she has the potential to become.

  2. Why is her first round draw a seasoned pro like Tomljanovic? Geez Tomljanovic can play and has been around a long time. Tough first round for Gauff.

  3. I want Ajla to be retired. She will turn 33 in next year. At this rate, she will never pass through 1st round matches in slams. Her ranking is low and she’s such a brainless player.

  4. Marvellous! Saw Gauff at her early championships, I believe she was 15. These players are all incredible, but my feelings are on Gauff.

  5. Wow can’t believe it was 7-5 in the 3rd when Gauff seems to have won every frickin’ point according to the highlights.

  6. Yes, we know Gauff is the darling of US Tennis & reigning champion, but just a few winning points from Tomljanovic – including the second set – would give a more rounded impression? (Why aren't I surprised?)

  7. Frankly a very unimpressive, choppy and nervous performance by Gauff who was lucky to survive her 1st round. Also, the court seemed to be playing super-slow tonight for some reason.

  8. Two short for a 3 hour match. Also taking longer than usual for longer length highlights. Other players longer highlight is up quicker.

  9. Loved all the highlights shown of Ajla Tomljanovic!! Shocker the US of all places only shows the highlights of their own player.

  10. sadly Tomljanovic has been playing terribly for the last 3 years, losing in 1st or 2nd rounds in the grand slams.. she was so so close this time to beating Coco but just couldn't hold on right at the end when it mattered

  11. This wasn't a battle thus was absolute war of two dynamic titans –
As in all wars there's a victor however Ajla wasn't no pushover –
    Well earned win "Coco" *
