You’re going to hurt something. Who me? What did my stance look off again or something? All right, welcome back to 15inute golf drills. It’s been a while since we’ve checked our stance. It’s been a while since I checked my stance. So, that’s what we’re doing today. Enough of that. This is all that you’re going to need to do it. Was a pretty good remix though, huh? First, you’re going to need a chair. Also, little side note, last time I used this thing, and for the few people in the comments that were freaking out saying that this isn’t a normal chair, and it’s taller than a normal chair, but not a bar stool, it’s a chair. You sit on it. It’s not that serious. And some form of ball. Today, I’ve got a soccer ball. But this is all we’re going to do. We’re going to take the chair and we’re going to place it in front of us to where this front edge of the chair is going to be somewhere around 3 to 4 in away from the fronts of our thighs. Away from the fronts of your thighs while you’re standing straight up and down. Now, if you’re a taller individual, you can use a table or a desk or a taller bar stool. Even if that bar stool is taller, it’s still a chair. If you’re shorter, use something shorter. Wow, you’re spicy today. With all that being said, I’m just going to hold the soccer ball in front of me with both my arms extended and my hands on either side with the fronts of my thighs starting three to four inches away from the front edge of that chair and me holding the soccer ball with my arms extended straight down. All taking a golf stance is is you pushing this soccer ball into the chair. If I wanted to just push the soccer ball into the chair, my butt would go back, my thighs would move back, and my chest would move down. I’m pressing that soccer ball into the chair. I would never in a million years want to press the soccer ball through the chair by sitting down at my knees, dropping my butt straight down. That that’s that’s hard to do, and you look ridiculous. So, don’t do that. Hands on either side of the ball, front of the thighs three to four inches away. The only way you’re going to be able to do this is if you actually hinge over at the hips to where your chest comes down and your butt goes back. And it’s not that far. When my arms are at full extension, how far is the soccer ball off the chair? Oh, three or four inches. Again, all I’m going to do, press it down in the chair. That’s it. If I were to move all this stuff away and just slap my hands together, looks like a pretty good golf stance, doesn’t it? That’s all you got to do. The one last caveat that I will tell you is when you do go to press the soccer ball down and into the chair, we don’t want to have any form of crazy displacement from our pelvis or our sternum. By displacement, all I mean is when we go to press this down, my hips aren’t going to be way up here and my chest way back. My chest way up here and my hips way back.
