“Draft Week” continues on this Wednesday episode as Andy, Brendan, and PJ pick their favorite PGA Tour events of 2025. Speaking of draft picks, the show kicks off with Andy immediately having PJ answer for an explosive trade deadline for the 1-7 Jets. The Jets choosing to stockpile future draft picks rather than have actually good players on the current roster is quickly tied into golf and the constant need to find “who’s next.” Michael Brennan could be “next,” and he’s back in action this week as the PGA Tour heads to Mexico for the Worldwide Technologies Championship. Andy and Brendan briefly discuss the field for the event, including Brennan, Ben Griffin, and U.S. Open champ J.J. Spaun. The DP World Tour playoffs begin this week with Rory, Tommy, and more teeing it up at Yas Links for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. Brendan mentions the event’s defending champion, Paul Waring, which leads to a guessing game on Waring’s 2025 PGA Tour earnings. There was some real, substantial golf news on Wednesday afternoon as it was announced that LIV Golf will begin playing 72-hole tournaments in 2026. Andy and Brendan find great humor in the fact that this is being spun as “innovation” and the next phase of growing the game, despite now being the same as the PGA Tour. They discuss whether the top players will start to separate themselves even more given another 18 holes at every event, and also mention some new trademarks filed by the league for potential team names. The back half of this episode contains a bit of a Year in Review appetizer in the form of a Best 2025 Events Draft. The three briefly look back at the year and select their favorite highlights from the PGA Tour schedule and a few wildcards.

Greetings and welcome to a Wednesday edition of the Shotgun Start. It is November 5th. Andy, how we doing, Brendan? I’m uh I’m all right. You know, just uh I’m bummed out. What are you bummed about? I’m bummed for bummed for everything everything I knew that was supposed to be 54. You know, all that was no more 54 holes. So the 54 league the 50 the prize for shooting 54 54 under you get 54 million from his excellency I think if he shot 54 in a round right or was that yeah that what it was not 54 under what I it’s all over it’s all gone I don’t know what to do but I know I feel better than uh than our producer PJ who uh is mourning the loss of of of his Jets what what the loss of what Jets Gardener Golf Golf loving Sauce Gardner gone. Uh Quinnon Williams gone. Just a fire sale. Well, you know, they saw they looked on the schedule coming off the buy. They looked at the schedule and they went, “We got to lose this game on Sunday. So, let’s trade our two best players.” Browns are coming to town. They’re like, “We cannot win this game. The tankathon is on.” And that like they they knew. They knew. Was Quinnon Williams was he up for a contract or something? What was the were these guys? He has one more year left. Like he has next year and then he wanted to resign and then apparently uh he has privately demanded the trade like four times this year and it hadn’t leaked which is great because if it had leaked we were not getting a one and a two. So props props to Quinnon. Good good jet until the end for being privately very upset. Good guy Quinnon good guy Jerry award goes to Quinnon Williams. How do you feel about this, PJ? Uh, the Quiddon trade is great. I’m totally okay with that. Uh, the sauce trade completely blindsided out of absolutely nowhere. Indianapolis, right? Um, yeah, it’s uh, you know, just like Bruno Kaboklo, we’re two years away from being two years away and uh, it seems like it’s going to stay that way for uh, for a while. If you weren’t with us with for the last rebuild, don’t be with us for the next rebuild, which is still is now happening in the middle of the last rebuild anyway. So, I I think that this is the most depressing state that you can be in in fandom is when your team has some nice young players and they give up. They just give up. I mean, the NFL, too, is, you know, so there’s been all this smoke about Miles Garrett. Browns need to get rid of Miles Garrett because he’s like just the greatest defensive player by Miles right now, and the team stinks. But the NFL is not like the NBA where like if the guy is not on your team’s timeline, you like you you like part ways. Like you’re you can turn it around in a year. And by turn around, I mean become a nine- win team, become a 10- win team. Like the NFL is not the same as the NBA. And what it feels like the Jets are doing are just selling like good players in a sport where you kind of should should keep them. I I I don’t know. I don’t think you’re not like doing you’re not running this the uh God. He saw Scarders in his third year. Who’s the Sixers gym that I was now blanking on the the nerd the process? my no before him. The process hanky like that doesn’t there aren’t timelines like that in the NFL where you need three four years of picks. Well, you know I the thing that everybody’s been pedalling on Twitter for the last three hours is we have three first round picks in 2027. So we’ll just take Julian and and Jeremiah Smith because that makes sense, right? We’re putting all of our faith in college sophomores. Well, you’ll be back to the Fields Fields Garrett Wilson Ohio State connection just five years later. May as well, right? What I think is crazy is that like and I think this is across sports is like people value these draft picks so high and I think we do it with to to tie in golf here to not frustrate everybody. We we do this with young prospects in golf, too. Is like it’s like, oh, but we like have this mythical status of of draft picks in sports when the reality is that you pray that one of those first round picks is nearly as good as S Gardner. Like in the ballpark as S Gardner, who’s arguably one of the three best quarterbacks in in the in the NFL, a premium position. The first thing I tweeted is two first round picks. Very cool. Maybe maybe if we’re lucky, one of them will be as good as Sauce Gardner one day if we’re incredibly lucky. That That’s like the thing. And people get so enamored with these first round picks and so often it’s like, well, we just gave away one of the 25 best players in the NFL. It’s really hard to get one of those. We’re going to take a quarterback with one of those picks and he’s not going to be as good as Sauce Gardner is and that’s how this is going to end. The all time I mean the Luca trade is the alltime just like falling ass backwards but there’s not a lottery in for that somehow working out. That’s still not a good trade and there’s not a lottery in NFL. The Colts aren’t gonna be in the lottery to get that pick, you know. It’s just not No interesting. We’re just we’re just here now. I wasn’t gonna bring it up. Andy Andy caught me. We were recording Eggp Pod before this like an hour after Sauce got traded and as Quinn got traded. Andy caught me like full peak crash out. So I’m coming down. I’m on the other side of it now. You crashed out. I was I mean the sauce thing literally came out of nowhere. Quinn, there’s been smoke for years. The sauce thing completely blindsided. Who’s the GM now? Darren Muji guy from the Broncos. I mean, for whatever that’s worth, is Darren Muji making these picks two years from now? Couldn’t tell you. I’ve got great news for you. Got great news for you. Michael Brennan is playing golf this week, which you know, our lives forever changed two weeks ago. My life changed an hour ago when the Jets decided to trade all their good players, but our lives changed two weeks ago. So, at least we’re living in the post Michael Brennan era. He’s playing golf in Mexico at a golf course you could just bash driver around with no repercussions. So you were mad we didn’t have Brennan in the draft for appearance fees on Monday. Once we finished when we hung up he just like a damn we forgot Michael Brennan. That’s how far he’s skyrocketed on your personal power rankings. Well I mean he’s he’s a he’s a needle. It is pre and post Michael Brennan. All right. Uh we’ll get the schedule for the week here. Why don’t we just do that? You just mentioned it. We’re going to talk about Liv going to 72 holes, reinventing the reinventing golf, taking things forward to 72 holes. Uh but schedule for the week. Let’s dispose of this quickly. The worldwide technology, not the nationwide, continentwide, we’re talking worldwide technology championship at El Cardinal Diamante Cabo San Lucas. If Brennan wins, can we is does it get renamed to the Michael Brennan Championship classic? Sure, we could do that if that’s what we want to push. The purse is $6 million. Uh, defending champion. Could you name him defending champion of the worldwide technology championship this time last year? A quality player. No. Close. Quality type player. Austin Ecro. You got it. Um, notables. Which one did Nico win? He won the Bay Current aka Zozo. But that wasn’t in Japan last year, was it? No, it was. It was the Zozo. Okay. Yes. But then became the Bay Current. Um, notables. Look at this. Number one in notables. Michael Brennan. Just a new new strategy. He’s 42 in the world. It’s amazing. He’s hot. I mean, I’m so ready for the Michael Brennan era. Honestly, I’m in on Brennan. I am, too. But what what do you mean you’re so ready for the Michael Brennan era? That seems a little excitable. I mean, this is just this is the period of time when when golf Twitter and golf people throw just the most preposterous um expectations and like the most unrealistic thoughts on what somebody’s going to be in a moment of time. We saw this with Roen. We saw this with Luke Clanton and like I’m not this is like Luke Clanton’s great and he might have like a killer year next year. Might have he might win this week for all I know in the field but like we do this all the time is there’s like a week of success and it’s just like and I’m I’m I have high expectations for Michael Brennan but if he finishes well here it’s going to be like nonstop. It’s gonna be insane proclamations of like Augusta. No. And maybe I’m wrong. Maybe Michael Brennan is gonna be this. But history tells us that people rarely meet these preposterous expectations that are laid on players after after a small shred of success at a young age. Uh other notables, Luke Clanton, W there’s a whole US Open champion section. Wendy Clark is in the field along with JJ Spawn. Good to see them. Uh I can’t believe Spawn’s playing. I mean, yeah. I don’t know. You know what Spawn is in the data golf rankings? Uh AO four. He’s number three behind Scotty and Rory. Incredible. Incredible. And he’s playing Fall Mexico. Now, you know, if I want to just go play for cash, everything’s locked up, my signature status, all the whole deal. There’s worse places to go than Cabo St. Lucas in November. Uh it seems like this is the one I would probably do if if you’re just literally playing to stay, you know, competitively somewhat sharp and makes make maybe some money. A Cababo seems good. I do agree with you about like the competitive sharpness. Yeah, because you don’t want to get off to like a slow start in January. And the idea of taking like effectively October through January off in this new PGA Tour world, I think is a little haphazard. Um, I think it is important to keep competitive reps in, you know, as Tiger would say, reps, you know. Yeah. And I think it’s important to play uh like once a month for your just sharpness in competitive golf. And now you lose Sentry. You lose I mean Sony. These guys aren’t going to go to Sony just for Sony. They typically do the island hopping. MX could be kind of a a a get a windfall of starts. But yeah, you’re right. Other notables, uh, Dunlap, Ecro, Ben Griffin, Matt Cooer. Matt Coocher listed as notable. Who knows? It’s a dicey situation. He goes south of the border. or is he taking a local caddy? Who’s he got on the bag this week? This is 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Golf Channel uh Thursday through Sunday. I don’t have a whole lot else. The field is fine. I I don’t know why we need it, but it’s fine. It’s okay. There’s a mix of young guys. Piss Bear is in there via his top 10 at the Desert Championship or the Utah Bank Championship, whatever it is. Kevin Wah is in there as well. So, uh it’s a mix. It’s fine. It’s a good It’s a fine fine enough event. I don’t know why it exists. Um well, we say this every year. This is one of the events I’d love to attend. You know, if they want to fly us down, I’m here. Hand up. Hands up. If you want to fly my wife and I down, I’m I’m happy to accept this this uh this invitation. We we would do a live pod anywhere of, you know, poolside. Maybe we just talk about how this is the greatest event since sliced bread. I mean, this is a great event for the players. Think about the player you signing up for this event. You like stay in the hotel and you just like walk out of your hotel room. You’re on the range. Yep. Yep. Get a nice little Caesar salad every night. It’s exactly what they want. Um, we might go for the more all-inclusive setup. Spend punch in a couple hours on the course every day. Um, on the LPJ tour this week, we have the Toto Japan Classic. They’re blessing the reigns down at Seda Golf Course in Chiga, Japan. Rio Takata is the defending champ. Um, it’s co-sanctioned with the Japan LPGA Tour. This is 10 p.m. to 100 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. the a I believe this is the last swing uh last last event on the Asia swing before they come home to uh the Blueberry Boy Festival, the November Blueberry Festival. Guy Trump’s getting ready. We’ll talk about that next week. Um do you think Don Don’s going to make a visit down there? Yeah, actually I could see that. Yeah, 5050 as as everything is. But yeah, he might he could do that, you know. Um um go ahead. The one thing about the Toto, I mean, LPGA Japan, that that tour is like pumping out great players. Yep. So, there’s probably a lot of players you’ve never heard of in that event that are extra extraordinarily good and will you you’ll will become household names on the women’s circuit. I think six or seven Japanese winners on the LPGA this year of their, you know, 27 or something like that. It was it was that man, Korea with the most winners. Last but not least on the schedule for the week, we have the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. This is 2 to 8 a.m. Golf Channel Wednesday uh Thursday through Sunday. So nice little coffee golf. This DP World Tour swings back out to the Middle East. The first is 9 million. So this is your playoffs events. They do two playoffs. They got this one in Dubai. Uh, notables Levig, Tommy, Tier, Shane, Bobby Mack, Rory, Alex, Norin, Marco Peny, I believe is how it’s pronounced. Patrick Reed are your notables. This is a loaded field. You’re just trying to rile people up. God, Penji, I mean, get the hell out of here. Don’t scold me. Like just I don’t think we’ve ever gotten more feedback than we did about the disrespect for our pronunciation of Marco Pen’s name. He’s from Tuskanyany. Marco Penji. Um this is at the Yascane Lynx. Yas links in Abu Dhabi. I like the Yas links. This is the event of the week. Is there we go. Hell yeah. I mean, it’s Slim Pickings, but this is this is the one that’s a par five finisher that Terrell Hatton said is a disgrace. It’s Kyle Phillips design. Apparently, it’s just like it’s like one It’s so windy out there. Blows and the course feel the course is like plays firm and fast. like this is legitimately like one of the few courses in the uh in the desert that I uh I would I would like to see in the in the uh you know the Dubai uh area, you know. Yeah, it’s it’s it’s a cool little deal. I mean, it’s manufactured in this city that now has a F1 thing and the Super Mall and all this other nonsense, but it’s a cool it’s a cool uh setup as far as Middle East golf goes. Would you rather see Yas links or the new Faldo design in uh this opening of Saudi Arabia? I mean for my own amusement content sake probably Faldo in Saudi. How many visits do you think Faldo made to Saudi? Was he in the dozer out there? You think? Who knows? Who can say? I told the story, right? The Faldo story here. Yeah, but you could tell it again. Come on. It’s November 4th. So years ago he opened a golf course in uh in England and on the you know most golf architects they you know that they build a golf course they visit let’s just even say they aren’t there all the time they visit once a month a golf course. So on the way to opening day at said golf course, Nick Faldo got lost. He couldn’t find his way to the course and he stopped in at an elementary school to ask for directions to the golf course. Where are we going? Had to go hit the first T-shot and do the ribbon cutting ceremony. Incredible. Uh the defending champ at the Yas lengths, Paul Wearing. Now, I remember that from last year. Paul got his way onto the tour on PGA Tour, I believe, via this win. Didn’t stick. Who do you know what he did this year on the PGA tour? What? What he did on the PGA Tour? Give me Give me Give Actually, let’s I don’t know if he finished in the top 25 in one event. No, I remember him being semi-relevant once. Uh, I think you’re mistaken, PJ. No. Yeah, I thought I thought we talked about him one time. I don’t think we did. We talked about last year when he won. That doesn’t mean he was relevant. We talked about many like the Isco or something that he was like moderately around. No. No. What? Wow. Let’s give give me give me a guess at his season earnings on the PGA Tour. Paul Wearing defending champ. 182,000. Oh my god. You wish. 97. No. $26,4001 seems impossible. That seems hard to do on the PJ tour. That literally feels impossible. Oh my god. A full season full card. He made less than I made in my first job out of college. Now, I want to be fair. I think he may have been injured, but he had 12 starts. It’s not like he had three. He didn’t play after the Scottish Open. Played 12 events, missed 10 cuts. Made it to WD from Scottish Open. I don’t think I think he was hurt in Scottish Open. T47 at the Canadian Open was his only made cut on the PGA tour. So his only made cut came outside of America, Canada, T47, which I we were told he’s one of the good guys. So just didn’t didn’t translate to the bigs. Just they sent him he’s probably going back down and the great manero just Yeah, they’re too good for the PGA tour. Too good too good at bloss. That’s your That’s your schedule for the week. Now maybe he came to America Paul Wearing and he just didn’t know how he didn’t have a comfortable sleep. He couldn’t get the right pillow combination and then you’d end up with $26,000 in season earnings and a little bit you could chip off a not a lot. You could chip off a little bit of that 26,000 and go to lagoon.comsgs and you get the discount code of sgs for 15% off. Now what is Lagoon Lagoon Sleep? It’s our new pillow department. I’ll tell you what. I’ll tell you what, this is a pretty pretty cool uh pillow. I gotta I gotta say I um I travel a lot. You’ve put it in play here. Okay. I travel quite a bit. I would say that the determinant of how I’m going to sleep is pretty much the pillow. I can’t tell you how important the pillow is. You know, there’s nothing for me. I’m a side sleeper. Yep. There’s nothing worse than the pillow that I sleep on my side and my head inevitably sinks down to the mattress and I it just it makes it impossible to go to sleep. I’m now like thinking about my next trip and horrified that I might get one of those pillows and then it it it’s just going to bind me to a terrible night’s sleep. The thing that’s cool about Lagoon is it c they customize pillows based off of how you sleep. So, if you sleep on your stomach, sleep on your back, sleep on your side, it has a pillow for you. You go onto their website, you take their quiz, and it recommends a pillow. They send you the pillow um with like filling so you can make it, you know, have more or less based off your own. I I signed up. I’m a side sleeper. I got the Otter. I’m pretty Otter. I’m I’m very happy about the Otter. I love the names of the pillows. I’m an Otter guy. Um, and since I put this in play, I don’t know. It could be I’ve been really tired. I did have a very bad cold. Okay. I’ve been sleeping like a rock. I feel legitimately great. I sometimes have like some neck and shoulder issues. Those have just gone away since I put this pillow in play. Wow. Firstand accounts. I also took my quiz. I ended up as an otter boy. We’re all I think our whole pod I think PJ is an otter boy, too. All otter swimming around popping our heads out. Say hello. Three side sleepers. Love that otter. The fox. The whale. It’s not very interesting. I wouldn’t want the whale. No, it’s just not. That’s the sunj pillow. The chinchilla and the puffin. So, two-minute quiz. Go to lagoon.comsgs. They’re not exorbitantly expensive. Sleeping. I’ve been in the green on my recovery deal since I put these in play. Wow. Uh, big time. a lot more green. Uh just crashing faster, too. I don’t even have to put the AirPods in to listen doze off to a to a podcast with my Lagoon. lagoon.comsgs. Promo code is SGS. You get 15% off. We’re going to have to get one to Paul wearing for his many travels. Um you know who needs this? Who’s that? The mattress king. Louise saves it. Good point. That’s a good point. Who used to travel with his mattress. I’ve been thinking they give you a little uh they give you a little case for it. Yeah. At first I was like, “What the what the f is this for?” Yeah. Pillow, you know? I think it’s so you can travel with it. I actually am thinking about starting to travel with it. I I think the pillow is so important, so determinate to how I sleep. I completely agree. I will say I just would feel like a child though carrying a pillow through the airport is my one my one issue. Well, roll it up and put it in your away. Smush it into the in the roll. I can’t sacrifice that much space. I don’t disagree, but I I’ I’ve been awful sleeping away from from home lately. I just It’s terrible. Doesn’t even matter. Um, all right. Let’s get it. Let’s Let’s move on uh to some guys who are going to need some more good sleep next year cuz they’re going four days 72 events. Liv has switched the whole 54. branding. Remember that wire? That wire scene, the wire like we stood on that lie. You stand on that lie. Well, they’re no longer standing on 54 being the future of golf, the revolution of golf. This is acquiescing, I would say, to sort of satiate satiate the OGR board or attempt to do so. They’ve got this qualifying event in Florida. They might be adding more promotions from the Asian tour. Um, so Liv is going to 72 holes. I legitimately don’t think this is that big a deal. I think people are getting off their laughs. Uh, because literally they have branded and taken this market position of like we are the 54 Whole Boys and they lasted three years or whatever it was. Um, and this was sort of a non-starter at the beginning and they came around. Uh, I think it shows signs of they plan to be around, they want to be around, they’re working to be around. They’ve asked for trademarks for three new teams or rebrands of current existing teams. Um, I just don’t I’m just not going to I’m not going to buy all the [ __ ] about this is progress. This is from Scott O’Neal, Live Golf CEO. most the most successful leagues around the world, IPL, EPL, NBA, MLB, NFL, continue to innovate, innovate and evolve their product. And as an emerging league, we are no different. So by innovating, let’s just let’s just be clear. By innovating, they are doing what the longstanding league does with 72 holes and adding a way to qualify in for the league like the longstanding leagues in the sport do. So they’ve innovated into doing what other people do. Live golf will always have an eye towards progress that acts in the best interest of live golf and in the best interest of the sport. I would say those two things have been in conflict really since the existence of live golf. They just have. I’m sorry. The there’s no innovation about this. I think people are having their jokes. I honestly maybe I’m just going soft here. I didn’t think Graham meant like eek out a living. I think this is fine. I don’t think it’s the biggest deal. Of course, we’re going to laugh at them. I think it shows that they’re trying to become more serious or at least stick around, get world ranking points, and and continue to be a competitive league to the PGA Tour. Or maybe it’s they’re just trying to push a deal through. Um, I think the players by and large are into it. Most of them, Rahm, Bryson, Neman, they gave canned quotes, pre-arranged quotes to support it. Uh, seems like the burners are not happy. The boys who’ve, you know, taken all the arrows and ridden for the 54. And they’re the corner boys. The corner boys who’ve been use your wire wire. They’ve been the ones out there clapping clapping about shooting bullets across across the blocks and and then they they found they that the the kingpin was selling them out to the FBI was just a rat a whitey bulger all along, you know, to mix all our organized crime metaphors here. Um the corner boys are upset. Yeah. Um, so does this materially change anything you think about Liv their future? I feel like we are farther away from a deal. We are like we’re so close at the White House and all you know all this signals smoke signals this is happening soon that we will all be reunited. We seem so like Liv is just going and they’re going to stick around. It’s just fine. But I don’t know who’s going to watch or how many people will watch at least. They got money. They got deep pockets and uh I think one of the things that I I think this is really good for John Rom. He’s going to win a lot more tournaments. I wish I could have gotten an over bet before this was announced what his overunder on wins next year was. And um the uh I think so I think it’s really good for Rom. I will just say that I would not um not rule out, you’d never rule out a competitor with deep pockets ever. And in a way, Liv doing this is going to make them more attractive to more players. Um because they see a pathway to majors they see and I would just I would just hesitate to anybody dancing on the grave saying they’re dead. I don’t think anybody is necessarily, but these changes are going to make them more attractive to players and uh I would just I would just suess uh suggest that this this war is not over uh is until they fold up shop, which you know they’ve got enough money to never fold up shop. It is somewhat amusing they spent $5 billion to get to a 72 hole. Yes. Stroke. Heck, they here we are. It’s I mean they literally lit five billion dollars on fire. They don’t have enough good guys just like the signature events could use a Bryson and Rob, but they just have more. They they it drops off dramatically. I’m sorry. Anyways, we don’t need to get into I mean I think that the little draft we did last last episode of the players Sure. It was re revealing to me about like how how short the bench is in terms of players who actually matter. Yeah, you took Alders by Keater in the fifth round or something. That was just a st pot. I mean, you had John Dailyaly was and Tiger was in the top three. I think John Daly might have been the steel of the draft. Um, if this is becoming more attractive to players, as you intimate, um, you could go to Black Diamond Ranch January 8th through 11th and try to play your way on to live golf via a promotions event where there were two players will earn a spot in the 2026 league lineup. This is in Lacanto Lanto, Florida, I believe in the Tampa area, right? The Tampaish area. I mean, that’s a stretch to call Tampa area. Is I went to I went to a Wings place by there. It was like such a dive. It was so good. It was like a bar. It was like a garage. I’m going to try and find it here. You got your guide for the the dreamers going to the promotions event for the the wings. Now, if you’re looking to if you’re looking definitely not that place, play your way in. Uh but you also have any delusions of grandeur of playing on the PGA tour, the champions tour, the corn ferry tour. Uh this will not serve you well because if you play in the promotions event, you will not receive a release and will be subject to disciplinary action andor suspension because the event is taking place in North America. This is via Bob Herig of SI Golf. Great reporter Bob Herig. he had this and uh yeah, so I mean that seems like a significant deterrent if you are one of these dreamers fringe players. Do you think you can finish top two? Like that’s an amazing but also it’s like seems hard amazing to try. The fact that that’s such a big deterrent would make a dreamer believe that they have a better chance of finishing top two, right? It’s fair. Well, like a lot of guys aren’t going to sign up because of how bad the I mean, I imagine this is how you talk yourself into robbing a bank. Yeah, right. Well, I mean, you you get it’s essentially you’re breaking your odds down to you kind of get one shot or you’re or you could do all the shots on the Americas or I like that champions tour. Like, was Tommy Gan thinking about coming down Stephen? I mean, that could be the best thing that happens. Tommy Gainy, that would be I mean, he’s already here for the Triple Crown this year. PGA Tour, Court Ferry Tour, Champions Tour starts. That would be a next level. Yep. I would also point out it’s a it’s an area the country is very comfortable in. You know, it’s not far from Pulk County. I don’t know about comfortable is the word I would use. I’d be a little skittish. I would say that it’s, you know, look parts of parts of that area are not too dissimilar from, you know, the the parts of the area he liked to hang out in. God, all I know about, man. Yeah. We we got advanced some AU tournament in Poke County when I was in like sixth grade. Had to go. It was like so not good. We’re talking like mid 90s or something. Late 90s. I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to Pulk County in my life. And I know there’s some new golf courses getting built there, but I just I don’t know if I can go back. Poke County. We’re so excited to go to Florida. No, never mind. Um all right, that does it for Live. They’ve got three new trademarks up. Real something rebrand of the Fireballs maybe and then maybe two new teams. We’ll see. Wait, they’re going to get rid of the fireballs. Uh yeah, I don’t have the name on it. Well, that’s the that’s the rumor. That’s the rumor. You know how much those fireball hats are going to be worth? That’s right. In a couple years, the throwbacks. Yeah, like the the Vancouver Grizzlies type stuff. Get get that OG brand club day Toros. They’re going Bulls. Oh god. So, it’s just going to be a bull allegedly. Maybe. Allegedly. and then two potentially new ones, but we’re not sure. Do you think that’s a How do you feel as a Bulls fan that there’s there’s another Bull entering the marketplace? I’m okay. I think that’s like maybe the best name they got going. Club Detoos. I love it. Real Club Deos. Yeah, it feels like it’s got like a real um sense of of who’s on this team. Now, the problem is is like what happens in five years? Do you always have to be a team with like Spanish players? Like then all a sudden that might live. The thing the biggest farce issue with the with Liv is all the [ __ ] they promised us about like player movement, free agency just never happened and it still has never happened. Yeah, they have just completely the the other issue is like there is like a huge opportunity for team golf, but they have taken a giant [ __ ] on the opportunity and completely ruined ruined anybody’s chances of even proposing any form of team golf for for the consumers because of how epic how big of an epic failure this thing has been. It has been bad for team poison the water because a bunch of idiots have lit$5 billion dollars on fire. I mean it goes back to the whole shamery of a draft where we had the inside the PowerPoint and we knew like the picks were all pre-arranged and cooked in advance like and here we are four three four years later like are the magic sticks who are like just completely incompetent like is there any penalty for being bad? is Henrik actually, you know, set shipped off to Scandinavia and never to be I don’t know. So, I uh that was one of the best days when we had that presentation. We’re just putting stuff out for like here’s how the draft is going to go tomorrow in London. It’s kind of insane. Burn Vberger is going here. This draft is for fake. The first pick is Burn Vberger. uh are in there stirring the pot. But yeah, you’re it makes a good point. So anyways, I the bulls are coming online. Uh you know who’s not online? The deer, but the deer can be on your line if you go to Maui Newi Venison. PJ didn’t like that transition. The deer can be online if you go to Maui New. I did not like that transition. I loved it. That was incredible. They maybe they could get in on the team brand. You get your pillow. You’re going to get better night’s sleep. That leads to better health. Next thing you need to do, you want to revamp your life here. Get the get the most healthy red meat available in the world of Maui Newi. The protein 100% wild harvested meat that’s completely stressfree. That sounds good to me. Stress free and responsibly sourced. Perfect for anyone looking to elevate their meals with delicious, high quality protein. You know, that high performing friend, he’s already sending me I sent him one, gave him a few things. I gave him some recipes, some stuff I’ve tried. He had bacon wrapped um medallions. Yeah, medallions. Bacon wrapped medallions. Gave them to his wife, kids, everybody. The whole crew, picky eaters got in on it. Uh 100% wild deer from the island of Maui, living freely in a stress-free environment. As organic as it gets. No feed lots, no antibiotics, no hormones. USD, USDA inspected. Um, supplies are limited due to the nature of their work subscriptions. Uh, once they’re filled, their spots are gone. They’re offering a free 12-pack of venison jerky sticks with your first order of $79 or more. You can go to Maui Newi, that’s m aui, like the island, newi, nui, venison.comsgs, mauynewiveneness.comsgs. You get free 12-pack of venison jerky stick. That’s an awesome awesome easy snack with your first order of $79 or more. Uh go to mauiwi.comvenen mauiwven vvenenison.comsgs. All right, let’s get back into draft week. Continues to pace. A lot of people like the uh appearance feed deal. That was a fun little game. This one is going to be sort of a teaser an amuse amuse bouch to the year which like I’ve just put it over in the corner of the room. I’m not looking at it. Research need is staring at me over there. We got to get I don’t know if I can do it. The people demand it. The people demand it. Uh this is going to be a muse amuse to I can’t pronounce that to the year. Uh, we’re drafting draft week number two, drafting events from the PGA Tour schedule based on our personal and there are three persons here, not 31,000. Our personal opinion and subjective taste. So PJ might have a partial. That’s my personal opinion on there is no personal opinion. I’m the president of the PJ of America, right? I’ve got 31,000 members that are listening to my every word and I’m proud to represent them. That’s my personal opinion. I don’t have a brain. I’m just a I’m just here as a as a representative, a vessel. Um, our subjective tastes on what just happened. And we’re not going to go over the events. We’ll give you a d a dabble of a dollop of of what happened and then get you ready for year review. But quite honestly, my takeaway from this, I don’t remember half the [ __ ] that h half the crap that happened this year, which with me, there’s probably too many events, right? Yeah. Off the top of my head, as someone who literally talked about it three times a week, every week, I don’t I didn’t I needed some significant jogging of the memory as I went. I’m not going to lie. I’m going to put my hand up here. I was prepped for the last one. Was not prepped for this one. So PJ, I I don’t I don’t expect to expect to win the draft here. PJ, do you have a randomizer, a wheel that you could cook up for us? I’m I’m spinning the wheel. You got to keep that on screen. And I don’t want any Tom Fery here. All right. All right. All right. Looking like Tom Fer is going to get you the first. That’s right. That’s why I wanted to see it. All right. Here we go. Congrats to We’re flipping the coin. All right. Who do we got to Great Tom Foolery. Oh, it’s going to be right on the edge. Oh, it’s going to be really close. All right. I’m third. Okay. All right. There we go. The inverse of last time. All right. First pick. I’m going. This is easy. This is a lock. The Masters. Can’t believe I got it. It’s like the tournament of a century. Insane. I mean, the thing is, Sunday takes away from all the preposterousness that happened before before Sunday. It’s crazy. Um, but that being said, Sunday was like the most roller coaster emotions day, you know, among the most we’ve ever seen in golf. So, that’s that’s my pick. And I don’t want to use too many bullets before before the uh Europe Yeah, it’s it’s as good as it gets. And we got a hard stop. So, we got to get out of here. Masters number one. All right. Masters number one. Uh I’ll take the Open Championship second. Uh if only because I think uh that looking back however many years from now, I think there’s a real chance that that was Peak Scotty. especially that the that Friday, Saturday, you had the Rory kind of subplot coming on on Sunday a little bit, but I Scotty was just so good that whole week that I’m I’m pretty confident with that as number two for me. All right. Said nothing matters, then went out and won it by multiple shots. Um, number three for me, I’ll go PGA Championship. may be provocative for people because the US because the US Open, but you had Rahm, Bryson, and Scotty in it in significant ways uh either on the lead or near the lead on Sunday. Uh some insane shot making down the stretch. Uh I thought the US Open by no fault of their own necessarily, mostly weather, was a little bit behind. Uh wasn’t as You’re burying the lead here. Yeah. What? Don Rehea came into our lives. That’s fair. That feels like a year review part. I wasn’t I wasn’t putting Don in my assessment of PGA. Maybe that was a mistake. Parts three and four. I I was ready. I was queued up with the board. Ready to go. Uh yeah, Ry came into our lives and we would never be the same. That’s true. I think the other aspect of it is like Scotty almost blew it. Yeah. You know, that front nine was like horrendous in a way we haven’t really seen him struggle in the moment. Uh, it was great. You know, I This is where I wish I was a little bit more at the back of the draft. I I got to go kind of conventional here. I can’t go off my off the board. I’m taking the players next. Um, we had a Monday morning playoff. Uh, we got great content afterward where where Spawn revealed that what Rory said to him at the Masters about not hanging the wedge too long in the part three tournament. Um, but that was a that was an awesome Sunday and awesome Saturday to be frankly honest. Like watching JJ Spawn where everybody, you know, thought he was just going to give it away and him like hang in there and and like awesome tournament. Great. Monday morning playoff. Good. I was hoping the players would would get to me. I had the players above the US Open on my list. But the good news is the good news is you could take something that might be as good as the players just like your Jets draft picks. Thank you. Well, I I actually should have offered my first round pick. Uh or I should have maybe offered you like Tommy Fleetwood from yesterday in exchange for two first round picks from you because that’s that’s what the Jets do apparently. Uh, I’ll take the US Open at four. I I or at five here. Uh, I think Muddy M. Yeah, Muddy Muddy Mott. I don’t think it was a a great showing for for Muddy itself, but uh strong finish, tight finish at the end. Uh, had, you know, obviously Cam Young involved, but but Bob Tierrell Hatton uh JJ making the putt, I think, is the exclamation point that lofts it into this top five on the year status. I think if he just two putted that maybe it would have been a less fun, but uh I I’ll I’ll take the last major on the board. All right, I am going to go with somewhat of a shocker here in number six. I’m going to go with the swamp ass invitational at TPC in a tech. I think this is the last time in our lives we will have Tommy Fleetwood in a last group. Uh can he do it? Can he’s never won on the PGA Tour drama. Rose was an absolute lion just making everything from 10 feet and beyond. Tommy like how can he do it? He can’t can’t possibly blow it again and he just spit the bit coming in. This was this was high drama on Sunday. Not an event I like but uh a great Sunday nonetheless. Tommy Fleetwood the last time he would have a you know a Sunday lead and not you know be a nonPGA tour winner. So I enjoyed that one. That’s I mean it’s the last time you could go on your rant about how he can’t get it done. We can maybe find a way. I mean, pretty manfield. We’ll see. All right, I’m going uh I’m going off the board. I just can’t afford not to have this event in my in my list of events. I’m taking the Mexico Open Pock Eater Brian Campbell playoff. I know it’s a high pick, but I I couldn’t live without it. I reached I took I had this ahead of Memphis. And I was like, “No, he’ll still be there for me when we come back around.” And you jammed me. I was terrified you were taking it. I had Mexico. I had Mexico at seven. I had it at six. I almost took it last round because I just have to have it. I mean, I’ll never forget this playoff. It’s everything you want. The event of the year. It actually might be. It’s everything you want. Pock Eater. It’s incredible. Campbell getting, you know, the backboard off the bamboo trees into play or whatever. Pocket having the same nine iron five times in a row and he he missed every single one in the same spot. Damn. The Caddy not being prepared with the numbers. No. The Caddy just being like him being like, “What’s the cover on the bunker?” and him being like, “Uh, I ended sixth.” Oh, incredible. All right. Oh, god. Go ahead, Beach. I’ll take Pebble. I think it was kind of the the start of the uh the Rory early uh heater on the year. I I mean, had a had a great leaderboard there and Rory getting a a victory at one of the iconic venues in golf. So, I’ll take Pebble. That’s a good one. It’s a fair one. taking provocative lines off 14 and all that stuff. That was a good That was a good day for Rory. Uh I’m going to stay with uh man, the Tommy thing really became a narrative. Probably the Travelers was was really good. I mean with Keegan then all of a sudden Keegan has to play. How can he not play? He’s definitively on the team. Keegan wins. You know Tommy misses the putt. That was an awesome Sunday. Now we’re characterizing a lot of these by like the last hour it feels like. But but Travelers was a good one. What do you got next, Andy? We’re going. All right, I’m up next here. Um, you know, there are a lot of Scotty wins to choose from, but for me, historic win will go down as one of the most impressive wins ever on the PGA Tour was Scotty dusting a field at TP TPC Craig Ranch. Yes, Craig D. Nelson Ranch, a course that like refuses to let players separate. And I think he won by seven if I’m not mistaken. That’s right. Just completely smoked a field on a golf course that is not set up to allow somebody to smoke a field. Man, we must have all had the same scouts at the same combine cuz I did. I thought this one would be available to me, too. I had in the so bad it’s good category. I think this was the year the CJ Cup Byron Nelson was so bad it was actually good. All right. All right. Now we’re kind of getting into it. Uh, this isn’t so bad it’s good. But, uh, I had I had a lot of fun watching it. It’s one of the ones as I was just looking at the schedule that I distinctly remember kind of everything happening down the stretch. I’m going to take the Valbar and Havland and JT kind of just duking it out. It was almost a pillow fight by the end between the two of them, but two two bigname players fighting it out at the end and a good golfer. This was the week after Morawa refused to talk if I remember correctly and and JT did the interview after and everybody’s like, “Oh, what a what a good guy.” Yeah. Class act. Gave him a big pat on the back. That was Havlin saying like, “I I’m lost in winning.” He was like, “Yeah, he was like, I had no idea it was going to happen anytime I stepped up to the ball.” Uh, all right. Quick one here. I’m going Canadian Open. The playoff that would not end. Foxy. God, I wanted this. Sam Birds. Remember that garbage golf hole? That that that finishing hole? Just awful. Par par. It was just terrible. But Foxy is a friend of the program, friend of the egg. Uh and uh his second win in like a month and a half. Great playoff so bad. It’s good. Became amusing. I’m going Canadian. Uh what else? Who’s up next? I’m up next. Um, I’m going to, you know, I’m going to take the Genesis at uh at Tory Pines. Levig, MercedesBenz ambassador, Levig Ober. He probably was comfortable all week in a GLS and uh that’s probably what powered him here. I think this was a good tournament. Um, and I Yeah, so I’m taking Ludvig. Quality quality tournament. It was just we had Tory fatigue a little bit coming around the second time. Go ahead, Pete. Uh, I’m taking the Windom event event of the decade, event I just I mean it was a crowning a crowning moment in PGA Tour, not only in golf history, PGA Tour history, golf history. Um, I mean, it started a heater. Where would the American Rder Cup team be if the Windom never occurred? Justin Rose would still be a lion and not a dead one. So, I’m taking the win. This is um here’s a question. If we had done this last year, where would the Windom have gone in the draft? Uh probably like third or fourth. Yeah, the high maybe second. Yeah, probably really high. Coocher Gate be great. Uh my next I’m up next. Next pick is up kind of in that elk. I’m going with the the Houston Open. The chef cookinsky. Uh he beats Scotty by a shot. You know, Scotty is just killing everybody. You remember he lost the year before to the 4A Steven Joerger at the Houston. And then we had the Gary Woodland stuff like finally Gary Woodland like post brain uh brain surgery like really was in it. And uh Dr. Chapinsky, the chef, all these other things. Cook Houston Open was fun. Good one. Uh I’ll take the Scottish Open next. Uh I thought this was a sensational Sunday. you had Rory uh you know in the mix and and then you saw Chris Gdderup a young player young un unproven at the PGA Tour level player you know at the highest ranks of the game take him down which I think is just like a cool setting um it’s what you want to see you want to see guys that that don’t have the resume of of a Scotty similar to Minw taking down Scotty or Rory that you know Chris got up his career pales in comparison of Rory Rory, you know, has won been magic in all these national opens and uh and and Chris got her up takes him down and and probably should have been picked on the RDER Cup team if we’re being honest. Would have been a good pick, PJ. Uh I’m going to take uh Arnold Palmer Invitational just because I think it was kind of a tone setter, a little uh I mean, the rise of Russell Henley was a good he chipped into the water, but the hole got in the way. Yeah. from from Over the Green. Uh obviously started a whole Didn’t NBC miss it, too? Yes, they came out of a Rolex commercial late uh and missed it live and then had to replay it from like nine different angles to make up from it. Um that’s that’s a classic for year review that I’m sure all the tweets coming off of that. And then obviously the Colin Morawa uh discourse that I would say is still hanging over Colin Morawa. People are asking, “Is Colin Morau ever the same after Russell Henley snatched his soul at API?” So, that’s good. Uh, I’ll go tour championship next. I’m just loaded up. Just collecting Tommy on purpose. I got Mexico taken from me and Craig Ranch taken from me. Uh, Tommy gets it done. Finally gets it crosses the line. That was literally the only story line though. It wasn’t really that close was the drama of how is he going to blow it? How would he blow it? But he gets it done. All right. All right, give me the uh give me the Bank of Utah championship. I can’t let Michael Brennan fall anymore. This could be a win that we go back and look at as in in historic regard. I cannot allow Michael Brennan to slip another spot. It is truly an amazing story though. An amazing story. The guy was on PGA Tour Americas, had a Cornferryy Tour card for like a minute, and now is a PGA Tour player and ranked 42nd in the world. Uh, and they haven’t played an event since then. He was playing on the Americas tour. That’s great. I didn’t even include fall, but that’s I don’t know if that’s a good sign that that the fall of like signature events, but go ahead. I had to take I had I couldn’t let Brennan slide any further. No, it’s it’s a, you know, a sliding doors moment in the history of golf potentially. Um, sure. I’ll I’ll go I’ll go Hilton Head. I I’ll go Heritage. Uh that was I play off another JT Andrew Novak. Uh it almost turned into a pillow fight a little bit there, but um I like that golf course and JT winning is always good. So signature event. Okay. Um next I will go BMW championship. I think that means I cut all the playoff events. You took all the playoff events. Not good. Um I really wanted some more variety. I I had my board my new sketched out. I’m getting jammed here. I’m like scrambling. I’m like the New Jersey Nets taking like five guards or whatever they took. Um we’re using all five picks honestly purely based on the chip in at 17. Like I think that was sort of signified Scotty in full like the everything he has the development that Andy’s talked about where he like built his game from chipping then he also led the led I think the week in driving distance that week but it was the chip in it’s basically on that one shot is why I’m putting this here. So the BMW championship we uh we get a wild card right? You do have one wild card. NonPJ tour event or co-sanction, whatever it could be. Go ahead. Let me use my wild card. All right. Oh, boy. All right, gentlemen. Welcome to Congressional Country Club. Today, that persistent championship testing rain is settling in. It’s one of those days. That rain. It has a way of testing more than just your swing, doesn’t it? This is now I could have taken the Walker Cup with my my wild card. A week I’ll never forget, but I think at any point in my life I can dial up that sound bite and just start uncontrollably laughing. So I’m taking the senior PGA at Congressional. Who won that PJ? I know anal was in the mix. Did he won? Anhill won. All right. Thank you. Patrick Harington collapsed. That’s right. Um, okay. I don’t know how to recover from that, honestly. Uh, seminal moment in podcast history. I’ll take the rocket mortgage. Pocket finally getting across the line. Great back nine. Feels strong. Seminal moment, but sure. Pater in the sixth round. He was playing Graaserman duking out. Yep. Yep. Uh, what’s another one I could take here? Zurich. Two internet favorites online guys who might be too online. Uh, BG and Andrew Novak win in Zurich. Nobody watched, but they win. What do you got next, Andy? Well, I I’m going to take a world class player just demolishing an elite field. Uh, just a proper proper player. uh just dominating, dominating, utter, utter domination. A real shame that this player didn’t make the RDER Cup team. Really a slap in the face given how dominant he was at this event. Tom Dietri at the at the waist management. I’m I the year of the Alii on tour. I I can’t not have this one. That’s fair. This Yeah, it’s fine. This is not a good Phoenix Open just because you killed everybody. Well, it was a great Phoenix Open for me, an Illinois an Illinois fan. Phoenix Open went woke. They put in all their new regulations about beer sales. Um, all right, PJ, you’re next. Um, I’ll just take the highest one on my board because I don’t even know where anybody’s going at this point. I’ll take the Cognizant. Um, terrible. No, no, no, no. started off super hot with Jake Nap in the 59. Everybody losing their minds being like the Honda used to be great. This used to be a hard golf course. Everybody losing it. And then good story line. There was like there was like five guys in it at the end. Ben Griffin being one of them. That was like the start of the heater. Uh and Joe Highmith wins making the cut on the number. All right, I’ll go Scotty at Memorial, cleaning up at Memorial, which I think like there’s a larger conversation to have about the events where Scotty just for like the three months there, Scotty’s just winning by four, winning by two, or he’s in the lead and he’s going to win. We know he’s going to win. But, uh, yeah, that was Scotty in full flight on a a golf course proper test. Sneaky underlying storyline was it was Ben Griffin and him duking out. It looked like Ben Griffin was going to run away who was like one the other storyline of this this part of the part of the schedule. Um, yep. I will uh man, what do I want to do here? I will take uh I’ll take Ben Griffin at the the Charles Schwab challenge. Just need to have a little BG on my on my board. He was a big story this year. um you know led to the creatine overdoses, but this was just during the during the period of of Ben Griffin mania and I want to have a little slice of Ben Griffin mania. This was where he said, you know, he they didn’t have a ton of money and he learned to chip like because they would just drop him off like where he could chip for free and that’s why he’s good at short game. Uh PJ, I’ll take the John Deere. How dare you take take the linei? I almost took him there. God, this is like fourth last. This is terrible. Uh, no. If only I think you’re misremembering uh maybe why I’m taking it. This is when uh Kevin Wah tweeted about his dad, Patrick. Okay. All right. Um, I’ll take the PR Open. Koala Carl beats RNP. Raasmus Negard Peterson. Koala Carl comes into our lives. We know that the PR Open can be a breeding ground for future greats like Victor Havlin, Tony Tony Feno, and others. Koala, Carl, the PR Open. What else you got, Andy? Man, we’re we’re getting uh It’s getting late early. It’s getting getting late. It’s getting late. You’ve got Sentry Truist MX Farmers Insurance Open. I’ll take uh I’ll take the Truist. I’ll take our guy Se rumbling through an elite field and just running downhill. JT was in the mix. Rory was in the mix. None of them could handle that septic tank smoke. I mean, that’s true. None of them could. Um, I’ll take the Sony just because uh Boommy Boommy in a playoff win. I think uh that was that was big for uh big for Boommy. Andy got his bobblehead collection started. It was great. These were Taylor. I got to be honest, these were a lot of these are bad events. There was not a lot of there was a whole like third of the schedule was not good. I I mean it was a boommy versus I believe it was Nico playoff like I you talk about things that are tailor made for this podcast going going wild card right now Irish open the year of Rory before the RDER cup that was just a super cool scene just makes that ginormous eagle putt on the 18th there at the K club the kids are jumping around he seems moved just like how do you like extract any extra juice out after you’ve done everything that’s a way to do it Irish opens my wild card pick. Uh Andy, go ahead. Um I I guess I’ll go uh with um I’ll take Double Tank is there. I’ll take Fero. I’ll take Brian Harmon waggling his way to Fero. Everybody pissed off about the Waggles. I had this as the legit worst event of the season. Like very last. We’re all at the masters. We want to move on. Nobody like he crushed everybody. Valero. Okay, PJ. Go ahead. I might I might take Tag here. I think just rumble rumbling around MX getting a runaway victory. Complete runaway train. Um, okay. I will go with uh Farmers Insurance Open was like a proper It was cold. It was windy. Harris English was legit the best player. proper golfer wanted like a proper test that week and and like the comeback because he had the hip surgery. Yeah. It was like would this guy ever get back to what he is? Yep. Um Yep. How many more rounds are we going? Do we have to keep going? No. One more round. I have four available events. I have the Isco, Myrtle, Puntaana, Barracuda. So, four oppo and then the only nonappo event is the kitty cat. I’m taking it. Give me the project. Give me a kitty cat. Uh, any anytime kitty cat wins, I want it. Just bashing the ball around. Like worst looking good golfer in the world is is Kurt Kittyama. The way he gets it done is truly offensive to watch, but he somehow gets it done. I couldn’t tell you a thing about the 3M Open other than the kitty cat is listed as the winner, but we’ll get to your interview. This uh I I I remember this was the week that the PGA tour leaked that the next unique winner would be Mr. 1000. Maybe it was like the week before. Yeah. And I was vehemently rooting for like Jake Nav or Kitty Cat cuz Cam decided not to play at the last minute. So I I needed somebody who had won already to win. Uh thank god Kitty Cat Despair was in the mix, too. Always fun. BJ, do you have your wild card, too? I’m going to take it right now. Yeah. Uh, I’m going to take the region’s tradition. Uh, I think everybody can take the RDER Cup. I’m not interested. I’m not interested in the Ryder Cup. I’m interested in the Reason tradition as the 2025 PGA was wrapping up and Scotty wins another major in the the the pitch black Darkness. do sink and Dick Green are hitting balls into people in pitch black on the green. A golf cart drives over somebody’s ball. It was unmitigated chaos that they had to go finish in the daylight the next day. This is the 18th green with the whole grand stand around it. So people are just getting domed in the dark. Uh I’m taking the regions. Okay. All right. So that leaves me with four opposite field events. How many go? We could do toasty challenging Garrick Higgo. RIP Toasty. I haven’t heard from him in a while. I’m going to go with the Myrtle Beach Classic. Toasty was in the Houston mix, too. He was walking allegedly slow walking. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, I’m going to go with the Myrtle Beach Classic, which is lowkey good. I’ve got double Foxy now. Fox chips in, holes out in the playoff with Harry Higs, you know, who’s a fa favorite of the of the internet. Uh, and McKenzie Hughes. I think it was better than Hilton Head. All in terms of South Carolina events, the Myrtle Beach Classic was better than Hilton Head. Fox chips in. That’s my last pick. The Myrtle Beach Classic. All right, that’s that’s uh episode two of draft week. We’ll come up with another gimmick for uh episode three of draft week for Friday. Uh thank you all for tuning in to this Wednesday episode of the Shotgun Start. Talk to you then. All right, gentlemen. Welcome to Congressional Country Club today. That persistent championship testing rain is settling in. It’s one of those days. That rain. It has a way of testing more than just your swing, doesn’t it? This isn’t just about skill anymore. It’s a profound test of will. That rain. It washes away the unimportant, leaving just the essence of the fight. Experience. That’s their shield. Focus their guide. And the sound of that rain on the umbrella, their concentration. Each drop, a little nudge stay present shot by shot. Even the dampness in the air has a way of sharpening the senses, doesn’t it? You don’t fight the ram. You play through it. This isn’t a round to be endured. It’s a round to embrace. Victory in these conditions. It’s not just won. It’s weathered. It’s earned. Championships aren’t won on Thursday, but they can be lost.
