well turns out the white stuff in normal mini golf balls is not what I thought it was

I snacked this mini golf ball from our local spot to see why I played terribly there but really well at Top Golf mini golf and normal golf. And the inside of this ball explained everything. Now, the first thing I did was throw this little ball in my sweet spot checker because I wanted to see where the ideal place to hit it is because with the amount I’m missing, I’m definitely not hitting it. And something super important to know is on the inside of golf balls, it’s usually rubber. And sometimes it’s multiple layers, but most of the time it’s just one and then the outer shell coating. And when we look at the outer shell coating on this ball, there’s no real markers to tell you exactly where the sweet spot line is. But that’s it. And I’m really just using it to figure out where to cut this ball. And in cutting it, it’s feeling really weird. It’s kind of making like a crunching sound, which is not something a golf ball should sound like. Especially with the rubber, it should cut smoothly. And on this one, it keeps bobbing up and down. So, when we take a look inside, this is where I find all of the issues. The first and most obvious thing is that the outer shell is different thicknesses on each side. On the right side, it’s really thin, and on the left side, it’s super thick, which is causing for the ball to wiggle weird when you hit it and probably causing you to miss a lot of putts that you should make. But when we take a look at the actual core, the white spot, you can see that it kind of sparkles a little bit. It’s hard to catch on camera, but that plus the texture of it pointed to me that this is actually styrofoam instead of rubber. So, if you’re ever playing bad at mini golf, this is probably
