Are adidas on to a winner with the new CourseCup spikeless golf shoes?

You’ve probably noticed that a lot of brands are bringing back some of their old school golf designs. A few weeks ago, Adidas dropped the course cup, an update to their 1980s classic. But I wondered, do they actually feel and perform like a modern golf shoe or like a pair of outdated ones? So, I bought a pair, played some rounds in them, and I’ve got some thoughts. Because if Adidas nailed the look of these shoes and the comfort and the performance, well, these could be some of the best retro releases yet, and possibly better than their own MC80s. Let’s find out. And I’d love to know what you think of the looks. I think these could either look amazing or they could kind of look ridiculous. But here’s the thing. If you don’t have the wardrobe choices to style these shoes, well, you might struggle to wear them all that often.
