This guy slept through a million dollar tea time. This is Luke Quan, a pro golfer and also a YouTuber, and he’s being absolutely roasted right now. Why? Well, he just did the unthinkable. At the Internet Invitational, 48 YouTube golfers are now competing for a million dollars. And Luke Quan missed his tea time. Oh, [ __ ] Why is this happening? Well, that for starters, an alarm would be good. Why did I put two? Maybe try three. I love that PFT is out there by himself. No, I don’t. You were supposed to be our guaranteed win. I’ll still win. Yeah, you will. Just hurry up. Let’s go. Yep. He overslept. And that was after the fact that he told his teammate that he was going to do all the work. We can just go do something else. Exactly. All right. Just knock off. Really? Yeah. Who are we playing against? I don’t know. Does it matter? No. We’re going to beat every one of them and you don’t have to do anything. I want to do something. So yeah, he came across a little cocky and brash there, but let’s be real. I mean, he would absolutely demolish whoever is in his way. So he’s speaking the truth. Luke simply needed to meet up and it would be an easy win. And when Luke finally showed up, Dave Portoi was not having it. Hear all this hype about Luke Quan. He’s a no-show. Best avail best uh ability is availability. If Luke’s not here, I should be allowed to do one man scramble. No, you only get one ball. I suck. Blame it on your partner. And he decided to penalize Luke massively. Luke Quan fourhole penalty. You can join in uh whole five. Three. Three. No. Four. Join in whole five. Four is crazy. They got to win every for kick him off the final say. Unfortunately for Luke, Dave Portoy gave him a threehole penalty, meaning that he wasn’t allowed to play before the fifth hole. Mind you guys, it’s a nine-hole match. So, not being able to show up until the fifth hole is a massive penalty. The Internet Invitational isn’t just a casual scramble. It’s far from that, actually. It’s like the YouTube’s Olympics, if you will. 48 players, $1 million on the line. This is a big deal. They’re playing RDER Cup style matches. Each point matters. Every teammate counts. And Luke’s partner, well, I’m not trying to be rude, but he desperately needs Luke’s help. I get too much. Come on, Rigs. Rigs, they’re going to kill me anyways. No. One one ball. You got to be in the hole to begin the hole. He can begin to hold two. Says who? Me. I’m rules commissioner. This is [ __ ] All right. Well, let’s go to the rules. Let’s go to the other guy. We got a guy who I’d like to appeal to a real rules official. Luke’s tea time was at 9:30 a.m. and his whole team was waiting for him to lock in from the first hole. This was a shoe and this was an easy match for him. But instead, he didn’t even swing a club before the fifth hole. Ow. get over the bunker. But by then it was too late since he had to win every single hole from hole five. And that’s just too big of a hole to dig himself out of the Hit it. Hit it. All right, fellas. Fun playing two holes. Fans were furious. Clips flooded Reddit, Twitter, and Tik Tok, calling him lazy, unprofessional, and disrespectful. And yeah, I get it. when there’s millions of dollars on the line, you do not sleep through a tea time, especially when it’s a team event. But at the same time, it’s not like he tried to actually, you know, miss out on the tea time itself. He overslept. He was in Norway the past week and he was jet-lagged. This wasn’t something that he planned to do. It just happened. If you ever play on a team, you know that this stuff happens. People mess up. The best way to handle this as an individual on a team is to stay in your own lane and do what you can to lift morale. You don’t want to center someone out and wipe them completely out mentally. But these influencers decide to mope around and make sure that everyone heard about this. We need you guys to have it some. You know, Rigs has not missed and neither has Cole. Quan, what the happened with Quan? I went to his I went I got up at 7:30. That’s two and a half hours before his tea time. Michael was like, “His alarm’s going off.” We figured he’s going to get up. He’s asleep when I go over there at his tea time to bang on the wall. He’s done. He’s dead to me. Which killed the chemistry on the entire team. Luke’s calm attitude did not help him when he finally showed up either. That’s good. I would have liked to see that go in. Also, is he allowed to give me a punt? Maybe I just He’s not allowed. He’s not allowed to play. Frankie just illegally picked up a ball. What the? You’re not playing right now. You can’t give up a ball. Sorry. So that’s 10. Then you can’t you can’t make that call cuz you’re not playing. You do this about everything. What goers would call staying composed and being ready for the next event. For others, it looked like he was being disrespectful by not caring at all. People looking at him as if he doesn’t care and he’s careless and disrespectful, which only made the teammates more angry. But Luke is an athlete and his job isn’t to make a big deal out of this. He needs to keep his emotions and nerves in check for the next round, which is very hard to do when you’re singled out in front of everyone at the food court. A boy, Luke. That a boy, Luke. Great job, Luke. Hey, good job, dude. We appreciate it. Oh, great job, Luke. We really appreciate it. Austin, you’re in the tournament. It sounds like you don’t give a either. It’s embarrassing. Thanks, Luke. Get get some lunch in you, dude. Get some lunch in you, Luke. Yeah, it’s funny. It’s funny. Need a nap. You’re the worst traffic. That’s true. That is true. Yeah, bro. I would definitely not overthink my next T-shot after that. I’d be shaking and quivering my freaking voice after that. Like, that’s just what Nothing like getting yelled at by the former hockey legend Ryan Whitney. Those neon pads. Oh boy. This guy was not happy. It made great content, but I’m unsure if this was really smart to do for the team’s sake. I don’t think it helped the team at all. Luke is your best player. Don’t shake him up before the next event. This would work great for either hockey, soccer, or American football to like fire you up. But when this is golf, there’s nothing you can do about that. He slept in. Just move on to the next event. I understand that there I mean there’s a lot of money, a lot of emotions involved, but keep it at bay. This guy’s your ace. He’s the powerhouse of the team. Give him some slack for this round. If he doesn’t play well in the next round, let it at him. Anyway, guys, I am completely locked into this. This is great content. This is great for YouTube golf in general. Uh, make sure to check out the description below where you find the video that I’m covering. I’m your host, Esen Golf, and I’ll see you guys in the next

  1. I mean yes but he did show up before the hole ended. the only reason it became an issue is Dave decided to dole out an unreasonable penalty for content purposes only.

  2. If I was on hes team after the game I would handcuff Luke kwan and put baby oil and send him to diddy Masion house and let Diddy have he’s way with him

  3. They blame him for their poor play. Whitney played 18 holes….zero points. Kwon played 14 holes…a point gained.

  4. I was excited for this invitational

But then it quickly became a dramatic reality show

It’s just too much yapping from too many people in one video

This is why I love Grant Horvat’s channel most. No drama, good fun, good guests, and some light banters here and there

  5. all i will say is that pft f'ed up by trying to keep fighting for him where he got a 4 hole ban if he just accepted it at the beginning kwon wouldve been able to join in on hole 2

  6. If i was team orange i would tried to ragebait team pink into Kwon gossip too. At no point did anyone on team pink think they were being distracted from winning their matches. Instead of locking in and dealing with Kwon later, they all proceeded to cry for 3 hours.

  7. Honestly, IDC. I believe everything in this world is staged for more views or more money. I love golf, play with respect and etiquette.
