In an unlikely crossover, Caitlin Clark and Kai Trump will compete at the same event, the LPGA Tour event at Pelican Golf Club, in November.
Indiana Fever star Clark, whose net worth is soaring after a recent $28 million deal, will be making her second consecutive appearance at the event, as she competes in the Pro-Am. Clark, 23, a two-time WNBA All-Star who missed large parts of the 2025 season through injury as the Fever reached the playoff semifinals, will compete on Wednesday, November 12, at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican.
Clark has made her excitement clear as she returns to the course on a big stage. And Kai Trump will make her LPGA Tour debut in the main tournament, after she may have let grandfather Donald’s secret slip after concerns over the President’s help.

“I had an amazing time at The ANNIKA last November and participating in the Pro-Am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game,” said Clark. “I’m honored to be an ambassador for a company in Gainbridge® that is so committed to elevating women’s sports. I can’t wait to return to Tampa Bay in November to play in the Pro-Am with the best women golfers in the world.”
“Bringing Caitlin, Nelly and Annika together last year was a great day for women’s sports,” said Mike Nichols, Group 1001 Chief of Sponsorship Strategy and Activation. “We look forward to her return this year and continuing our work with our brand ambassadors and partners to elevate women’s sports.”
Trump, the granddaughter of the 45th and 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, will compete against the world’s top professional golfers on the LPGA Tour as a sponsor invitation, meaning an unlikely crossover with WNBA superstar Clark.
A senior at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump has committed to joining the University of Miami’s NCAA Division I women’s golf team in the fall of 2026. In the meantime, she continues to sharpen her game on the junior and amateur circuits, competing in events on the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) and the South Florida PGA’s Srixon Medalist Tour.

“My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour, and I am thrilled to be able to compete at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican in November,” said Trump.
“This event will be an incredible experience. I look forward meeting and competing against so many of my heroes and mentors in golf as I make my LPGA Tour debut.”
“Kai Trump has a tremendous passion for the game and is expanding the sport to broader audiences,” added Justin Sheehan, Director of Golf and COO, Pelican Golf Club.

“She has a bright future at Miami, and we look forward to welcoming her and our entire tournament field to Pelican Golf Club in November.”
“Sponsor invitations are an important way to spotlight emerging talent and bring new attention to our tournaments and the LPGA,” continued Ricki Lasky, LPGA Chief Tour Business and Operations Officer. “Kai’s broad following and reach are helping introduce golf to new audiences, especially among younger fans.
“We’re excited to see her take this next step in her journey, and we’re proud to work closely with our partners in Tampa Bay whose continued commitment to advancing the women’s game helps elevate the LPGA and expand its visibility.”
