Golf highlights. After claiming his fifth victory of the season and 18th PGA Tour title, Scottie Scheffler took time to recognise the fight of runner-up Bob MacIntyre.

In this post round interview / press conference, Scheffler admits Bob’s early mistakes gave him an opening, but praises the Scot’s resilience: “Bob’s a great golf player… he was going to fight and claw his way back, which he did. He should be proud of the fight he had this week. It was a good battle out there.”

Well, I mean, it’s always about executing my game, but I knew I needed to get off to a good start today, and Bob gave me a couple gifts there early in the round. And um, you know, Bob Bob’s a great player. I knew him making some mistakes early, he wasn’t going to continue to do that all day. He was going to fight and claw his way back, uh, which he did.
