[Music] Hi guys. Uh we’re here today with Bristol Rovers doing Halloween a little bit different this year. Uh we’ll be going to some fans houses and we’ll be tricking them and treating them as well. So stick with us and watch what happens. [Music] We’re on our way to our first stop. We’re meeting a lovely family of there’s three of them there. We’ve got a young lad called Jacob who currently has treat syndrome and cereal pausy. Hoping put a smile on his face today. H we’re also there for his older sister Lissy who is very very selfless. She is Jacob’s carer but she also works at Bristol Children’s Hospital as well. Um, so hopefully, uh, we’ll be able to put a spine on both of their faces, but also Wayne, their father, um, underwent some severe heart surgery recently, so hopefully um, go and cheer him up with our visit. What were the chest pains brought on by activity or Yeah. lifting and just you know what BS like sort of like it just go and it doesn’t. So so I went to the doctors and I’m glad I did. Yeah. Yeah. Glad I did as well. What were the risks if you hadn’t? It just would have it was just I could have had a heart attack any time anytime. So once I found all that out then obviously things were a little bit different. Yeah, everything just comes over you and just Yeah, we we’ve we obviously Tom Lock has signed and he so we’ve learned I suppose in the dressing room a bit about it recently. Yeah, I can imagine. Yeah. How like it can affect What about you, Jacob? What you got? What you doing for Halloween? Any plans? Nothing. Quiet. Thank you. Thank you for your support. So, we’re on our way now to see our second family of the day. Uh we’re going to be visiting a young gassed called Ben. So Ben is neurody neurodeiverse. He has motor coordination difficulties and he is showing signs of autism. So hopefully we’ll be able to put a smile on his face when we turn up today. We’re also going to see his sister Belle who does a lot helping Ben around the house and just she’s also a registered young carer for Ben. So, we’re going to hopefully go put a smile on her face as well as we know she’s recently got a new found love for football and she’s part of the Premier League kit girls primary sessions. So, hopefully we can go put a smile on both their faces today. [Music] Trick or treat. Trickor treat. How are you? Good. You okay? Yeah. Is your name Ben? Yeah. And is that Belle? Is that Belle? Is Belle gone all shy? Right. Do you want us to come in? Ryan to me. And I I said to him, “What would you do if one day if a footballer comes up to you?” What would he do? Hide behind. Hide behind his mom. He’s so excited. And I look at him. Some present for you, Ben. Is that yours? And there you go, Ben. That’s for you. You’re welcome. Right. That’s for you. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this. Really nervous. It’s fine. We won’t we won’t have Yeah, we won’t scare you. How do you know? I did say to got a bit of a surprise one day, but didn’t say when. There you go. Is it a coincidence you got your Rover’s top on then? Oh, he lives in football. He loves this one. Football crazies. He wants to be a footballer when he’s older. Um or own your own manager your own team, aren’t you? Nice. So is that is that your bedroom window with the uh that Belle’s that’s yours with the gas flag where you ble So you help you help out mom do you you help look after Ben a lot. Yeah she’s a career like she’s a young carer for both of these cuz both these and her older brother got special needs. So she’s now a young carer by Yeah. Look at that. Right. Fits as well. So, we’ve had a great day uh surprising a few families. Obviously fantastic work that community trusts do and we’ve been very very proud to support that. But it was really good to see their faces light up when we gave them the gifts. Yeah, just following from what Tel said, it was very nice to obviously make some core memories for some people and hopefully everyone can have a happy Halloween.
