Oct. 15: Cross Country Tournament

Organizers said a cold and potentially dreary day blossomed into a beautiful and crisp fall day for 32 Graeagle Men’s Golf Association players and guests participating in the 2025 Cross Country Tournament. Players and guests took on the modified Graeagle Meadows orange course in four-person teams with the winning teams as follows:

First place, with 59 net: Corey Fanti, Jeff McKenzie, Don Judson, Dave MacDonald

Second place, with 59 net: Dan Anderson, Joe Anderson, Trey West, Dennis Flynn

Third place, with 60 net: Brady Voorhees, Bruce Voorhees, Bert Bellows, Chuck Franck

Oct. 17: Friday Playday

Mother Nature provided a beautiful sunny and mild day for the eight Graeagle Men’s Golf Association players who attended the Friday Playday on Oct. 17, said organizers. The low net and skins game produced the following winners:

First place: Jim Reynolds, 69 

Second place: Don Judson, 70 

Third place: Grant Mayfield, 72

Six individual skins were earned by the following players:

Jim Oster, with a 3 on the fourth hole and a 3 on the 11th hole

Don Judson, with a 2 on the 12th hole and a 3 on the 16th hole

Grant Mayfield, with a 3 on the 15th hole

Jim Reynolds, with a 3 on the seventh hole

Oct. 24: Friday Playday

Eight Graeagle Men’s Golf Association players took part in a net score plus skins game Oct. 24 under a partly cloudy sky. The winners on the cloudy but warm day were as follows:

First place: Bert Bellows, 71

Second place: Chuck Hein, 73

Third place: Jim Reynolds, 74

Seven skins were earned by the following two players:

Jeff Monaghan, with a 2 on the fourth hole, a 4 on the fifth hole, a 3 on the 13th hole and a 4 on the 18th hole

Don Judson, with a 3 on the second hole, a 1 on the eighth hole and a 3 on the 17th hole
