The signature par 514th runs right beside the river making it both scenic and strategic. At number eight is the Wilderness Club in Eureka. A Nick Faldo signature course that many call the most beautiful in Montana. Stretching 7,27 yd, this par 72 layout is framed by lakes, rolling terrain, and panoramic mountain views. It’s a par 727,705 course with a blend of link style and mountain golf. It’s challenging but playable for all thanks to wide fairways and smart design. At four, the Reserve at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky. Designed by Jack Nicholas, this PAR 72 8,000yard monster sits at over 7,500 ft elevation, giving you massive drives and jaw-dropping views. It’s private, exclusive, and one of the highest elevation courses in the US. With narrow fairways, bold bunkering, and lightning fast greens, it’s as tough as it is beautiful. Number three, Rock Creek Cattle Company in Deer Lodge. Another Tom Do masterpiece, this par 717th 466yard course blends seamlessly into the rolling terrain of a working ranch. Expect rugged bunkers, natural contours, and greens that flow with the land. It’s private, but often ranked as one of the top 100 courses in America. Runner up, Spanish Peaks Mountain Club. Another Nicholas design located next to Moonlight Basin. This par 72 7200yard course offers a little more forgiveness and a lot of breathtaking mountain scenery. Each hole feels isolated, framed by the Madison Range, perfectly maintained and playable, it’s a dream round for anyone who loves elevation golf.
