Club BEHIND during the downswing ๐ฑ๐ #golf #golfswing #golftips #golfcoach
So, it’s not a coincidence that all these great players get their club head behind the hands on the way down. This ensures you swing on plane and not come over the top like this. I’ve got a great drill to instantly fix this. Grab your alignment stick and tuck it under your trail armpit. The goal here is to keep the lead arm touching the stick on the way down. And it’s going to be very difficult for those who have always come over the top. But this excessive drill will help you to get your lead arm pin across the chest for longer and help you to tuck the trail elbow in on the down swing rather than getting disconnected and come over the top.

That's great, what about a great drill for not releasing too early? That's the last one I need to get below 5!! Also would be great with a bit more distance ๐
In that first clip, looks like the weirdest driving range ever or no one wants to replace divots.
Just tried it, really like this drill.
If you act like youre hitting the ball with your right elbow on your downswing youll fix this issue . but you also have too flex your left wrist to close the face to not slice
Are you actually hitting balls with the alignment stick like that? Can you show the drill and what your swing would look like with it tucked?
Ooo great drill idea
Perfect program ๐
Because the shallow, i believe, but this technique comes with time and not in instant
Keeping the clubhead behind my hands is something my coach had me drill over and over again. I get the best contact that way and nice ball flight.
Ive seen this same guy post like 3 different drills for the exact same thing
Over the top isnโt a big deal if youโre close to on plane. Look at jack nicholas, john Daly, Ben hogan. Do you think youโre better at golf with a better swing than these guys???
Think lat pull down. Keep your lats tight
sitting in the golf cart bout to tee off for a round hope this works ๐๐
