It’s not quite LIV Golf money, but there was plenty more at stake in Fanling. Here’s the full breakdown of the 2025 Hong Kong Open prize money…
Tom McKibbin will take home the winner’s share of the Hong Kong Open prize money after the Northern Irishman romped to victory over a stacked field in Fanling.
McKibbin opened with a course-record 60 at Hong Kong Golf Club, before back-to-back rounds of 65 were followed by a closing 63 to round out a whopping seven-shot victory over fellow LIV golfer Peter Uihlein.
As well as McKibbin and Uihlein, a number of LIV Golf stars were in the field, including Louis Oosthuizen, Matt Jones, Thomas Pieters and Charles Howell III – who all finished in the top 10.
Patrick Reed, Talor Gooch, Paul Casey, Charl Schwartzel, Harold Varner III, Jose Ballester, David Puig, Anirban Lahiri were among the LIV players who played all four rounds – as was Anthony Kim, who was relegated from the league in 2025.
Graeme McDowell, Martin Kaymer and Adrian Meronk all missed the cut.
McKibbin, who made a little north of $10 million in his debut season on LIV Golf, also earned a Masters debut as well as a third appearance at The Open in 2026.
