FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. (November 1, 2025) –Mount St. Mary’s men’s golf stands in sixth place on day one of the Fripp Island Intercollegiate with a gross score of 290 (+6). Santiago Bonequi led Mountaineer golfers on day one standing tied for ninth with a score of 71 (E).
On the team leaderboard, Gardner-Webb stands in first with a gross score of 283 (-1) to hold a one-stroke lead over Lafayette in second. Lafayette stands in second with a three-stroke lead over Presbyterian. For the individual leaderboard, Keith Hunter of Central Michigan and Winston Kelenc-Blank of Lafayette stand tied for first with a score of 66 (-5).
To round out the Mount’s scorecard, Brent Glah stands tied for 15th place with a score of 72 (+1), while Force Kosalutta stands tied for 21st after shooting a 73 (+2) day. Daniel Shelley stands tied for 28th with a score of 74 (+3), while Jack Bagley stands tied for 45th with a score of 78 (+7).
Other golfers at the event are Tyler Fortney who finished round one with a score of 81 (+10) and Brian Macintosh who finished round one with a score of 82 (+11).
