Oct. 28 (UPI) — The granddaughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, Kai Trump, will soon play her first LPGA golf event.

It was announced Tuesday that Kai Trump, 18, was picked by the “Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican” to play in its fall series tournament.

The eldest child of Donald Trump Jr. and ex-wife Vanessa Trump, both 47, Kai Trump will be set for Nov. 10-16 series at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla.

“My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour,” Kai Trump said in a statement.

A high school senior at the Benjamin School in North Palm Beach, Fla., committed to the women’s golf team for fall semester at the University of Miami.

She was born a year after Barron Trump, her uncle and the president’s youngest child with first lady Melania Trump.

The president, meanwhile, has been seen in YouTube videos and social media playing rounds of golf with his eldest grandchild, who competed in a series of junior and amateur competitions on the American Junior Golf Association.

“This event will be an incredible experience,” she said. “I look forward meeting and competing against so many of my heroes and mentors in golf as I make my LPGA Tour debut.”
