ball well over above his feet. So we’re all sort of hookie looking set up into 10, but the pin is on the left. Yeah. And finds it. Look how it just feeds away. That’s how tricky they are this week. It’s made it way over to 10 as well. Lee for birdie to get within one. That was a confident stroke. Lee, you’re here at 11. He’s on the move. Yeah, he’s a tall man. Powerful player. Lovely extension through the ball. Lee, he’s only one behind. He’s having a day and a half today. Five under. [Applause] Well, yeah. Get the double figures to join Alvivera. Now, this is as easier as you’ll find on this green. Obviously, not easy to read these greens this week. Little subtle breaks to them. Can’s ball didn’t come off the right as much as I think. I think this is pretty straight, but up the hill. Good chances. [Applause] Only one full roll away. Good. Now 12th T. Now we step on this one. The par four. They got that bunker in the middle of the fairway or left half of it. Drivers out I’d imagine for all three players here it was. Yes. Down a little bit this one Alli for Lee up the right hand side. Pinned well back though right where it was. Second day pitch on the green. Let it feed up there. Well, he went the high route. Stopped on the sixpence. Great shot from Le from where he was on that right hand side. He had that ball above his stance. Played a beauty. Flew it all the way. Now I just see this one just moving to his left. So a little bit of right to left in this one. A little bit down the hill as well. So a little bit speedy. Get away from him if he’s not careful to tie the lead. Another one stays up. Horrible second shot of Lee at the 14th. [Applause] He’ll be focused on a good finish. He won’t want to give away the week. Yeah. Slowing up the greens off the right. He’s drained another one, everyone. It is game time now. I’m a couple of holes ahead of Jay. I’m going to get in and get nice and warm and dry ahead of him. That’s always nice. Now down the hill. Pin over on the right. Lee’s on a cres of a wave there. Oh, that’s a that’s a good leave. Anything right is a very very difficult putt down the hill. That’s a That is a chance even though it’s 20 ft. Yeah. Never quite straightforward, is it all? These closing stages on tour. So many things up for grabs and this man’s everything’s up for grabs. The putter is working wonders. He can’t slide in another one surely. I just feel like this one’s just a couple of balls outside. Right. Gosh. keeps giving himself looks though. Those words from the uh tour important to get these things right. Lots of friends and family watching on. Absolutely. Yeah. This pin right at the back of the green all gathers from the left and from the right as well, but 219 yards. Plays a little bit up the hill. Te’s up 44. Asking it to just go a little bit and it does. Will kick forward. [Applause] We might see the putter out from there in a minute. Yeah, this is always awkward. This one just knows a bit of bit of grass behind the ball here. Wally, he’s just got to pop this onto the edge of the green later on. Yeah, played it well. Played it well. Looked a little stabby, but overall he took it on. Take all the guessing game out of it. Well, it’s in. I had a feeling that was starting off right at the hole that was missing. It felt it was in slow motion there, didn’t it? Yeah. Wee snaky vibe about this hole. Copy up the left half and just drift it to the right half. Give yourself a good angle in. Oh, good shot. Flag he can get to as well there. You see it just on the up slope so he can be aggressive. Just feels like he’s got about a little seven iron in his hand here. Maybe just thumping eight. Depends how much adrenaline he’s feeling. A poised follow through and finish again. Good shot. Nothing wrong with that at all. He just needs PS and a birdie to finish. 11 under par. He’ll be hard to catch. Yeah, just replaced his ball back from where Lori Counter just nudged it a little. The same place. Long lengthy birdie putt. He can’t, can he? He’s on some monsters today. Should just come off his right about now. Well, it did. That’s a nasty little left lip part he’s got left there. Yes, that’ll test the uh the nerve slightly. Now, this is a massive putt here for Lee and he’s made it. [Applause] Yeah. What happened to Gumbber there? You you think to yourself that doesn’t happen in real life. I’m out of one. A little bit nervous. You might get away with it. There is out of bangs down there though. The left side of this hole has had a lot of action. [Applause] Trackman following the flight of that. Beautiful. Lovely shot. That is just the ticket for Junan Lee down the last. A hole he likes. He’s out in front. Down slope. If he just wants to flirt with that little knuckle just to the right edge of it, it should just kick in and spin a little bit and being pretty nice. Decent contact. Look at that. Beautiful stuff. Lovely stuff. Yes. I thought you might enjoy that. So that for 11 under car take the clubhouse lead. [Applause] Maybe that coming next to take it all. Never anywhere else. That one right in the middle. Well done to the young lad. 64 final round. That will do it. Well, 11 under may well play off. May well win. Who knows? [Applause] getable, but he’s going to have to flush it to get it there and play at least a 20 yardd hook. Yeah, this has got Lorie Caner’s emotions running as well if he doesn’t carry that left side. Oh dear. Straight into the water. So, it’s like a sky hook. I think that was almost Well, remarkable scenes. Nacho Alvivera in the water and it has gone right down to the wire in South Korea, but it’s Jong Juan Lee who crosses the finish line in first. That man on screen is your Genesis champion for 2025. Jungwan Lee, you are the 2025 Genesis champion in your hometown uh home country, excuse me, of South Korea. Try and describe the emotions that you’re feeling right now. I feel like I’m in a dream. I still can’t believe I won and so it’s very hard for me to describe what I’m feeling right now. Was there a shot or a moment today that you think turned the tournament in your favor? Mhm. So, I think overall I played very well, but on um 12 I had a T-shot miss and I thought that I was done there, but then I was able to save that ball and I that was when I thought that perhaps the tables are turning and the gods are looking down on me. I believe you’ve decided to take up your DP World Tour membership for next season and you’re also going to Abu Dhabi for the playoffs. How excited are you at both of those opportunities? Abu Dhabi playoff. again. I really feel like I’m dreaming. I really really wanted to go to the DP World Tour and I was actually working hard toward that goal but somehow I was coming up short a little bit but I was really making the effort and now I have this really really great opportunity. So I’m just really grateful. I still feel like I’m in a dream and uh I’ll begin in Abu Dhabi and to be on these courses that I’ve been watching on TV and being side by side playing with all these players that I followed on um TV, it it just feels like a dream. Many congratulations, Jungwan, and we’re looking forward to seeing you in Abu Dhabi. Thank you very much. trophy. Nice stuff. Mike Song, the global head of Genesis, here to hand it over as well. Such an important event for them and for that man, a lifecher [Music] To watch another DP World Tour video, click here. And to subscribe, click here.
