Is it slow in front of them? Are there folk on the next tee box as they are putting?

  2. Same_Ebb_7129

Yes. You politely ask. Hey guys. If you’re gonna be shooting content. Would you mind if we just played through?

  3. Don’t use a tripod. It won’t capture anything good. Gotta have a roaming camera person.

  4. RichardHertz-335

Even the goose on the right is thinking “this is friggin obnoxious”.

  5. _TheDoode

If theyre keeping pace with the group infront of them no i wouldnt say anything. Id still be making fun of them with my playing partners though

  6. Larry-thee-Cucumber

Pop an air horn every time he goes to swing

  7. PainAfter

Absolutely not. It is their world, we just we live it. /s

  8. giantvoice

They want to show proof of that winning 46 in the scramble.

Idc as long as they’re keeping pace. If there’s a hole free ahead of them because they’re filming then gotta ask to play through and if they say no do it anyways fuck em

If they’re keeping pace then who cares. I played with a guy over the summer who had a tripod filming every shot he took, pushed his cart with one hand and held tripod with the other. Had it set up in about 5 seconds each time. Even got a couple vids for me because i mentioned i was working on a few things in my swing. Not everyone out there is a bad person hellbent on ruining your day

Yes. Hate to say it but time to end this shitbaggery by embarrassing

Grown men that have fallen to YouTube brainrot. Truly pathetic stuff. I’d say touch grass, but they’re already doing that and still yearn for their social media.

New idea for content: tee off on 1 and immediately ask the group to play through. Then ask every group to play through and film the interaction

“Whats your handle so I can subscribe?”

    “It’s blah blah.”

“Never heard of you. Let’s pick up the pace.”

Or just start playing Led Zeppelin really loud so they can’t use any of the audio if they want to monetize.

  14. Wakenbake585

Yeah. Yell out that nobody is watching your YouTube channel and let me play through.

  15. manbeardawg

I have never encountered anyone actually filming a round. Is that common?

  16. Legal-Description483

If there’s nobody in front of them, I call the clubhouse.

  17. chapelchill

As long as they’re keeping up the pace, I don’t care if they have a whole damn film crew.

  18. SuckMyRedditorD

You’re making a bogey anyway. I’d worry about that.

There use to be a guy in front of our league we called Ansel Adams because he would do this. But he wasn’t a YT guy, just obnoxiously slow, so much so that HIS league put him in the last group every week. Plus he sucked ass.

Course wouldn’t do anything about it, which was the real problem. This can be ended in 2 minutes.

Don’t know if the guy quit the league or wasn’t invited back but he’s no longer there.

  20. Legal_Tradition_9681

If they are the cause of the slowness and are behind the courses paces of play recommendations call the club house.

  21. It really shouldn’t be the *reason* they’re slow, assuming they got one of those you can just slap down. They’re just fucking slow.

  22. Ready_Scratch_1902

“if IT KEepS UP wiTh PLace of pLAy”…..

  23. HorizontalTomato

Call the clubhouse and ask for a Ranger to come out

  24. mattydzl-0091

Absolutely say something or call the clubhouse and let them know of the slow play.

If that doesnt work. Hit into them to speed them up!

  25. Signal_Bench_707

This is like being on the highway. If traffic is heavy, it does no good to tailgate or pass on the right, you’re just running into more up ahead.

If they are up against traffic in front of them, you STFU and have a little dance to the 80s music blasting from your bluetooth speaker. If they are maintaining a pace of under 2 hours for 9 holes, you chill out, and engage in some enjoyable conversation about your playing partner’s pending divorce.

  26. Party-Ad-7279

If the group in front of them are slow is there really a reason to say anything? If this is the reason for the slow play then yes. But if the course is slow no reason to say anything.
