I grew up playing golf on the links of England and had to learn how to hit the ball very low. Most people think that you have to put the ball back in your stance and shoot down on it. But actually, it’s the angle of attack plus speed that increases spin and the ball goes up in the air. So, what you want to do is not necessarily put the ball way back in your stance, just put it a little back in your stance, try and shallow out your golf swing and take an extra club so that your swing is nice and smooth.

It should look something like this… The ball a little back further in your stance, I’ve got an extra club, swing smooth and get a nice shallow entry. Try that technique, and I know you’ll be able to hit nice low shots into the wind.
