Don’t Force It you have a lot of power when I want to hit my back hand I just throw my racket yes perfect yeah you feel how relaxed you are that’s what I want you to feel I’m going to give you a dead ball don’t try to hit hard just push it with your hands ready go perfect you musle a little bit this one woo this one is amazing you even the [Music] sound I don’t have to say anything right

  1. This, right here, fixed my two handed backhand! Tried it in a match last night and saw big improvement. Thank you!

  2. I am also muscling the ball too much, when when I don't, I play a lot better, trying to use more feet and get power from the legs instead of muscling it through the upper body is something I am trying to do consistently now

  3. Patrick, the problem is that in a real match, balls come at us, the players, faster so we tend to tense up and overcompensate by forcing the shot and hitting hard.

  4. The trend I’m starting to notice after watching the shorts over this week is that there’s a lot of emphasis and focus on not forcing anything and being loose! 😮

  5. Terrible..Terrible advice to "throw the racket"…never one time have I seen Federer, Nadal, Murray, etc etc etc throw their racket at the ball…can't help but wonder if that advice to Naomi is why she was committing 50+ unforced errors in her lost matches..before she parted ways with you…plus–why wouldn't you emphasize the importance of straightening the front arm on the 2-hander as Novak, Alcaraz, Rune…etc etc etc…do..??
