Let’s talk golf boots. Are these a gimmick or a game changer? They always kind of divide people in thoughts and feelings. Golf boot. So, first thing when it comes to a boot, obviously it’s a boot. It’s a high top. This is an Echo. This is a FootJoy boot. You can see it’s this high top finish. And definitely when it comes to fashion, some people just don’t want to be seen dead in a boot on a golf course. So, if it comes to practicality, they make a lot of sense if you want to have a very dry and a warm foot. Obviously walking long grass, we’ve got a shoe that’s not going to really be affected hopefully by that unless you’re in the deep deep stuff because it’s not going to come in over the top as easily. Often the trouser will sit over the boot which again runs the water or any of the dew whatever you’re walking in away from going in this bit. Obviously this bit is all protected for all golf shoes as well. So the the kind of pros to having the boot great for warmth. They’ve often got some of the best traction on the bottom as well for slipping. So, you’re not going to slip. It’s going to keep you very steady on the slopes or on the fairways, even when it’s a bit muddy and slidy. They’re very easy to wipe clean. They’re very practical. They’re very longlasting cuz they’re built like a boot. They’re solid. Um, so you are going to have them for many seasons and obviously you’re not wearing them all year. So, you’re not getting a year’s worth out of them. Hopefully hopefully you’re going to get a summer where you don’t need your boot. Now the cons. So the bits are maybe not as good. Little bit more rigid. So a little bit less freedom of movement. And obviously in the ankle area as you’re swinging and moving there’s a little less freedom of movement subject to the design because it’s going all the way up up into above the ankle. So again, there’s a little bit of cons there, but if you’re after staying dry and warm, you can’t really beat a boot. This one from Echko is just right out there. Amazing.
