A brief intro to the carbon fiber sheets that we made from an extra roll that was left over after re-doing the St. Paul Basilica dome in MN. It was vacuum bagged using a sheet of double thick glass as a mold. We put a layer of S-Glass on the back with the intent of having something cheep and easy to sand. I will have to sand the sheet to 0.060″ thick then cut it in half and laminate it back together to get a thickness of 0.120″ for knife scales. Also, there is a brief introduction to DN iceboat runners, which is what the CF was intended for originally.
