NORMAN, Okla. — At the conclusion of the fall collegiate golf season, the Pepperdine men’s golf team rose to No. 15 in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division I Coaches’ Poll, which was released Friday.
Throughout the fall, Pepperdine rose four spots from its season-opening ranking of No. 19 in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division I Coaches’ Poll. The Waves are one of three programs from outside the Power-4 ranks to be ranked (the others are No. 14 New Mexico and No. 24 Charlotte).
During the fall season, the Waves had two top-5 finishes at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational Presented by Charles Schwab and the Golf Club of Georgia Intercollegiate. The Waves finished in the top half in three of the four fall tournaments — including an impressive fifth-place showing at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational Presented by Charles Schwab where the Waves finished ahead of current No. 5 Arizona State and No. 7 Auburn. Pepperdine’s best, and most recent, finish of the fall was a fourth-place result at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate.
Individually, Pepperdine had one medalist in Brady Siravo, who won the season-opening Sahalee Players Championship, and five top-10 finishes between Siravo, senior Mahanth Chirravuri and junior Willy Walsh. Additionally, Chirravuri (No. 7) and Siravo (No. 25) gave the Waves two players ranked in the PGA TOUR University rankings, while Chirravuri rose to as high as No. 4 in the Scoreboard individual rankings.
Pepperdine begins its championship season by hosting the 47th annual Southwestern Invitational on Jan. 26-28, 2026.
