Can I Break 70 at this Public Golf Course?

Mark my words. That’s the last bogey I’m making today. There it is. There it is. I told you. Give me one. Give me one. Ah. Something about this one. Stay tuned for this one. All right. Back at Lake City Country Club on a cold and kind of gloomy day, but I’d rather it be that than 100°. So, got a short little par4 here. Dog leg right. Um, got to get it in play in the trees. I didn’t see it coming down to my house. Shot tow. I got a little sliver of a shot here. I got a about 110 yards. I’m going to hit a little seven iron a little low and see if I can run one up there to the front of the green. Let’s do it. Oh, it hit a branch. That’s all right. Not a hot start to the day. Um, Wesley and George, Brian, I know you’re watching this, so let me add it. Selena Club, please. I just want to play and I’ll make a video with you. I like to support smaller creators, you know. So, just hit me up. Kind of a little tough shot. Not a lot of green to work with here. I land it just on that little hill and let it hop a couple of times. All right. All right. Trying out another new putter. And hopefully I can make some putts today with this. There it is. It’s working. Number two got a straightaway par five. 551 yards. There’s a little pond in front of the green about 50 or 60 yards in front of the green which kind of hurts your chances of rolling a 3-wood up there. But a fairly straightforward shot here. I act like I’m freezing, but it’s only 60° I think. There’s another one. Right. All right. I don’t know where that ball went, so I guess we’ll just drop. Got about 180 yard or 280 yards to the green according to the GPS. I’m just going to hit a little. It’s uh like a little seven iron. Get me in the fairway. Should be good. Yeah. Got about 115 center of the green. I think the pins in the center. I don’t know. I’m going to hit a 52 degree wedge and hopefully stick one close. And this will be for one, two, three, four. I have to get up and down here. Make a par. Um, all right. The wind’s helping. Just a little smooth little 52 degree. Little right. It went short. Oh yeah. All right. All right. Got no choice but to chip it in. Why not me? Why not me? Come on. Give me one shot. Give me one good shot here. Roll out. Roll. Roll. Roll. Roll. This for bogey. Oh, hate to see it. Double bogey. All right, hole number three, par three. Um, the sign says 205. I’m just going to take its word for it because I don’t have a rangefinder and the GPS it didn’t refresh it. So, I’m just going to hit my 200 yard club and hook it right in the woods. Love to see it. Yeah. Stay tuned for this one. Be a long day. Bad shot. Get in the hole. Oh my lord. Give me one. Give me one. Ah. Ah. I can’t do it. Listen. I might need a driver. Three over through three. Mark my words. That’s the last bogey I’m making today. and double and triple. No more bogeies pars and birdies. Got a short straightaway par4 here. Let’s get something going. Let’s get something going here. I hadn’t hit this club good yet until now. There it is again. All right. I actually got a pretty clean lie here with a shot to the pin. GPS says 130, but I’m not feeling it. I think it’s more like 120. Um, and it’s going to come off kind of low and spinning off of this hard pan here. I’m going to hit another 52. [Music] Uhoh. Might be short. It’s short in the bunker. All right. And I promise I know how to play golf. Um, it’s been a couple weeks. It’s cold. Oh, a little too much juice on it. hit the flag. In case you were wondering, my goal was to hit the flag and let it drop straight into the hole. But they got these flags cut the pin so small. I mean, I just can’t help that. And I said that I wasn’t making any more bogeies today. And if I if I miss this, I’ll be lying. So, let’s go ahead and knock it in. There it is. I told you. I told you. All right. Number five. Number five. Fun fact about this hole. This is my first ever hole in one hole. Uh, I was probably like, Yeah. Yeah. I think I was I might have been like 12. Um, but yeah, so hopefully I can recreate that shot here. Yeah, I um I topped it. I topped it and it rolled all the way and hit the pin and went hole. Hopefully I can do it make it look a little bit more better this time. Stay left of that bunker. Holy crap, it’s long. All right. Know I don’t get to play as much as I’d like to and I don’t get to film near as much as I’d like to. Um, but when we start slowing down, hopefully I can get more videos out, play more golf. It’s just kind of I’m really busy right now. Kind of hard to play a lot. So maybe I’ll get better in the future. All right. Oh boy. Oh my gosh. Odyssey AI Cruiser Jailbird. This is a counterbalance putter. Um, but it looks cool. Um, yeah. And I was looking at the good good version, but the good good version of this putter is $10,000. So, yeah, I put that one on way. Number six, 457. Yeah, I guess. Um, but you notice I got 3-wood in the hand. I got my 3-wood because that driver’s about to go on that pond right there. So, I’m just going to hit this. There it is. There it is. I’ll take that all day. Thank goodness I hit a fairway. Um, but yeah, so we got 157 and uh I’m not going to doubt this thing anymore. I’m going to just trust it. 157 to the center. I’m going to go with an eight iron. Land it somewhere on the green hopefully and a little left. No freaking way. Are you serious? I got to get my rangefinder back. There’s no way. 157 yards. Oh boy. I know that the cold is supposed to affect your ball flight, but I didn’t think it would affect it that much cuz that was a solid eight iron. Unless that GPS was wrong. I don’t know. Settle, baby. Settle, baby. Sit. and it was kind of straight. Thank you. All right, number seven, par five, 497. Um, I don’t know if you knew this, but golf is really easy when you hit fairways, greens, and make the putts. Um, but I think I’ve only hit one green today. So, I’m going to hit this green and I’m going to make a birdie here. It’s a pretty hard dog leg left. So, if you hit it straight and you hit it solid, you’re going through the fairway and you’re going into the other fairway um of number four. So, you better hit one left. You better hit a draw here. Oh, before I hit this shot, have you heard the news? Jesus is coming back soon. You better get right. I just felt like I needed to say that. That might be perfect. I think that’s going to turn out really good. Let’s go find out. All right, 251 yards. It’d be nice to have a driver to hit a driver off the tee, but I didn’t know if I was going to be in the trees or five miles right or what. So, I just hit a 3-wood. Um 250 to the center. Looks like the pin is tucked on the left. There’s some water up there on the right and I’m thinking about going for it. But if I hit a really good 3-wood, it’s probably going 260. And in the cold like this is as as far as I’ve been hitting it, I probably wouldn’t make it there anyway. Yeah. Like kind of Yeah. Yeah. Cut right starting left and cut it right there. I’m going to do it. Might as well. Going to start it about where that golf cart is next to that pine tree. Start it around there and a little cut. And the goal here is to not go in the water on the right. So that’s why I’m starting it so far left with a cut. Yeah, he’ll cut. The wind’s actually pushing that way, too. So, there goes nothing. There it is. That’s just about perfect. Carry, carry, carry, carry. Short, but I’ll take it. Actually turned out really good. Um, really good shot from back there. As you can tell, I was a little close to the water there, but it worked out. Let’s Let’s try and get this one close, if not in the hole. And it’s going to have a little bit of break once it rolls on the green. Let’s knock it in. Man, I’m feeling this one. There’s something about this one. Something about this one. Boom, baby. I’m pumped up, man. I’m pumped up. Uh, nice little eagle back there. Dropped me back to one over. We’re on hold number eight. It is a 90 degree dog leg right. There is a pond up there right in the corner. So that kind of hinders you from hitting something over the trees there. Um unless you hit it absolutely perfect. But I got a little two iron going to lay up and that’ll probably leave me about a seven iron length into the hole. Eight iron length into the hole. This one might go in the trees. I got my adrenaline flowing from that last shot. Yeah, this is probably going to go. It’s probably going to hit a car. That was smoked. Holy crap. I hit that two iron just about as good as you could probably hit one right next to the road here in the cotton field. And uh listen, I kind of feel bad because on that when I hold out and I hollered like that, there was a father and a son right behind me about to tee off and I think I made him mad. Um but it’s okay cuz I it might not look like it on the video, but I hollered kind of really loud. All right. Well, let’s focus here. Stick this one. There is a back stop behind the pin. And if you hit it there, it might come back. I don’t know. But I’m just going to play it right at the pin. And it’s 113. I would say that’s a smooth 52. But since it’s so cold, I’m probably just going to hit a full 52. Might be good. It’s like it’s in a little valley. I didn’t see where it landed. All right, Mr. cameraman. I want to hear it going cup. Maybe maybe a half a ball out. Oh, come on, baby. Well, I’ll take it far. Going to number nine. One over. And I’m going to birdie this hole cuz I’m sick of seeing those black plus numbers behind my name. I’ve had it up to here. Number nine, three, excuse me, 415 yards. Got the old rocket balls. Threewood again. Um, this is the last hole. Uhoh. Might be okay right there. Yeah, that’s fine. All right. said 176. Ain’t no way. Golly. Well, I am hitting my 3-wood. Okay. 179 yards. I’ve been hitting everything short today. I’m probably going to club up. Ran it to my boy Landon. He’s gonna play hole with me. All right, just in the rough here. 179 yards, boy. Chippy six. Leaving everything short, so I’m going to club up. Get up. Go. Get up. Get up. Get up. Uhoh. In the hole. Little left. Nice shot there, buddy. All right. Left it a little short here. Got a birdie putt. See if I can sink it in the day. You got your leaf blower in the truck, man. Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. The true friend right there. Yeah. Pull. Did he leave it short? Yes, he did. Yes, he did. Second. Get in there. Get it. Oh, I thought he made it. Oh, number 10. 375 yards. And Lena’s going to play this one with me, too, cuz he can’t help it. He’s addicted, man. [Music] Perfect. [Music]
