Kai Trump, granddaughter of President Donald Trump, announced on Tuesday that she would be making her LPGA debut.

Trump, 18, will attend after receiving a sponsor exemption into The Annika. She is one of three sponsor invites to the November event at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.

Trump, a senior at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach, is committed to the University of Miami.

“My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour, and I am thrilled to be able to compete at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican in November,” Trump said in a release, via CBS Sports. “This event will be an incredible experience. I look forward meeting and competing against so many of my heroes and mentors in golf as I make my LPGA Tour debut.”

Trump is ranked No. 979 in the Universal Golf Rankings’ junior girls. But her huge social media following and connection to the White House is believed to be the motivation for her sponsorship into this tournament.

“Kai’s broad following and reach are helping introduce golf to new audiences, especially among younger fans,” LPGA Chief Tour Business and Operations Officer Ricki Lasky said in the release.

The Annika is the second-to-last event on the LPGA schedule. It will take place from Nov. 10 to Nov. 16.
