Phil Mickelson wins his third Green Jacket. Rory bursts onto the scene and a second-nine battle for the ages ensues at the 2011 Masters, culminating in Charl Schwartzel’s run to the finish line. Bubba Watson hits a shot for the ages and Adam Scott ends the Masters drought for Australia. Jordan Spieth and Sergio Garcia win their first majors in magnificent fashion. Danny Willett and Patrick Reed don Green Jackets and Tiger Woods rewrites the record books with his incredible victory at the 2019 Masters.

Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

Our first honorary starter needs no introduction. For over 50 years, he has symbolized the game of golf around the world and remains universally loved and embraced. A great champion, an even greater person. Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in welcoming fourtime Mast’s champion, Mr. Arnold Palmer. Arnold, the tea is yours. Next, we are honored and indeed blessed to include as an honorary starter this year, Mr. Jack Nicholas. For many years, Jack dominated the world of golf in the Mast’s tournament like no one before or since. He returns this year as the owner of a remarkable Six Green Jackets. It’s been a little while, but uh you know feel like I know this place pretty well, but I’ve never ever played it. So it’s uh it’s going to be a blast. Uh the people uh I just I’ll never forget that as long as I live. Go hard. Go hard. Go hard. Go. Another M’s record. 19 underpar. What are the epic performances in the annals of the sport?
