Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in welcoming back Mr. Jack Nicholas. How did you do that? eye on the ball. Okay, the ball and keep your head down. There you go. in the hole. Go. Love this one. Come on, honey. Come on. Take this. Come on. And it should be pointed out that this golf course is set up. It is not easy. These flags are in difficult positions. Turn over. Turn over. Come on, baby. I said I remember saying to him that at some point in a golf tournament, you’ve got to trust your swing and you’ve got to pull off a shot. And this is the time. I’m going to trust my golf swing and I’m going to pull this shot off. And that and that’s what happened. It was uh it was it was a good shot. Now to close with a birdie. That’s a win for the family. Come on. Come on in. Rory Here you go. Boy, was that fun to watch. Fowler says, “Hey, I’ll see you guys later. Get in for a time. Massive chop and he’s found the yardage. Yeah, he’s going to get all the help from this. Well, it’s slowing down now. The greens. That’s fascinating, Jim, isn’t it? Be perfect. Be perfect. In the silence of Tiger Knox on the 243 to the front. He’s done with that giant rope hooking draw again. Chasing it. Will he? Yes, he will. It’s going to work very well. And it’s going to get all the way around in the back left corner. This is an extraordinary result. Fantastic shot that for an eagle. What you got? Easy, easy. Better be careful left again. Oh my goodness. He’s That could be on. Did it scuttle out? I’m not too sure. That might be unplayable in those bushes under the No, he’s past that. He went past that. He’s past that. He’s got to get up and over this little tree. And that hit it. The misery is over. It’s ended with a triple. And he falls from first to seventh in one hold. Come on. He’s two punts from victory. only needs one. Charles Schwarzel takes the Masters 2011. Next and for the first time, we welcome from South Africa golf’s greatest international ambassador, a three-time Mast’s champion who played and competed in a record 52 Mast’s tournaments from 1952 to 2009. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Mr. Gary Player. Gary, the tea is yours. Oh, beautiful. Very nice. That is way up in the air. What a beautiful golf shot right at the flag stick and then you’ve got three or four feet left. He’s got it. young South African Leo Tasen trying to use those slopes. And this one could be very nice. Could be very nice. Oh, come to papa. Yes. Watch out for the courts. In the hole, coo. Come on, baby. Be good. Oh, yes. Potato, baby. Get it in there, baby. Oh, comes out a little thin and low. Will it scrape across the corner? No. 155. Did it hook? Oh, what a shot. Look at it. snap hooking on the green and incredible. Absolutely incredible. Lift it out way too high. Here she comes. It’s going to go off the back corner of the green though. So Barbara Watson’s going to have two bites of this green jacket. He’s hit another great one. Oh, we can just nudge it up there. It’s all we needed. Another Watson is wearing a green jacket at Augusta and this time his name is Bubba. That’s his mother, Molly, coming onto the green. Allow us to introduce you to Tiang Long Guan. 14 and a half years old from China. Not only the youngest to ever compete here by two years, he makes the cut. Eight iron on the way. Will he get the benefit of the slope? He will. Not quite as much. Could be the biggest moment of his career. Adam Scott. Yes. Unreal. Quick, quick. Oh no. My goodness. What a go shot for the playoff. Onward. My goodness. Yeah, buddy. Come on, Adam. off little left to right. It’s still fine. It’s a great shot. There it is. Adam Scott, a life changer. Bubba, if you’d please do the honor. Thanks. Right. Yeah, Adam, congratulations. Very proud of you, sir. Thank you very much. It’s a honor, brother. Thank you very much. I must say this is this is this is a very very cool thing. And uh thanks to Kev here, I I got back in the press room for the first time in about 20 years. So, I didn’t I haven’t even been here since it was built, I don’t think. But, uh it’s just it’s an awesome week. Uh I’m so proud of the way he’s played the last three, four years and you I’m just going to be out there slashing around trying to make the cut and he’s going to try to win the golf tournament. So it’s going to be really really fun to be on the inside of the ropes. Been around here quite a bit. It’s been a little while, but uh you know feel like I know this place pretty well, but I’ve never ever played it. So it’s uh it’s going to be a blast. Just just don’t really know what I’m getting myself into, but it’s it’s going to be really enjoyable. Father. Come on. Come on. Great job. Will it skip? Yes. Will it skip into the hole? Jordan Speed for two at the fourth. Damn. Illinois. Jordan Speed absolutely in control of his game on day one at the Masters here on the par4 ninth after a 318 yd drive. this from 152. Exactly where it needs to be above the hole. It comes back to 11 ft. Ryan Palmer also at a 32 and George Speaf matches the 32. So, couldn’t ask for a better start as Spe heads to the second N. And this putt put a bow on Ben Crenshaw’s Augusta National career. Crenshaw hugging his longtime caddy Carl Jackson. I feel like I’ve won the tournament. God, I can’t. Uh the people uh I just I’ll never forget that as long as I live. Go hard. Go hard. Go hard. Go. Another M’s record. 19 underpar. What are the epic performances in the annals of the sport? It’s a long list. How about a little final hole magic? This is where you have to play it. Come on. Keep going. Come on now. How about it? Fantastic. Longer nicely on the ball would settle at 15 ft. He would have that putt for his birdie. Makes the birdie putt to move to one under for the tournament. Longer chipping from off the green. Oh, it’s not going to scare him if he goes long. Oh my goodness. This is unbelievable. The Iron Man. Come on, baby. Oh yeah. Baby, I’ve been here 17 years. I have never seen an afternoon like this. All right, that’s one. You had an outstanding week and we are all so very proud of your play here at the Masters. If you would please join me, I would like to present you the trophy for the low amateur. That was perfect. Danny Willlet is the leader by two. No, it’s been crazy. Um, you know, you can’t really describe, you know, the emotions and feelings. Um, you know, we all go out there, try and play good golf, and um, at the end of the day, someone, you know, someone’s got to win a golf tournament. Unfortunately, today, you know, today was my day. I’m not sure how that sounded. Yeah. Oh my god. Can you believe my goodness? There it is. You need that little lady, don’t you? Time’s on the corner of the bank. Just got to get it there. Come on now. Get there. Unbelievable. Absolutely. Nearly nearly perfect. Nearly incredible range. Get on it. Oh, delicate touch by Justin Rose. Up the hill, right to left, slow early, then straightens up. Has he made it? Yes. And Justin Rose is tied with Sergio Garcia at five under power after four birdies on the second nine. To Ty Hoffman to Ty Hoffman. Birdie for Justin Rose. Justin Rose for birdie. Sticks his follow through. He likes it. And that is well down there. through trying to get it up in the air. Oh, he almost holds it out in the fly. Oh wow. He likes it. Hugs the right side but just scuffled through the corner. Oh, as I thought it now, as I thought, you’re punching it out of a bad lie. And it’s his second while Rose be playing his third from almost the same spot. And he knocks it in there close again. Low side this time. And after so many years, once and for all for Sergio, GT, you’re going to love that. You’re going to love it. Here it comes. Here it comes. Come on. Stay right in the hole, my man. In the hole. In the hole. Six green jackets is pretty good. And but you know that’s about yourself. But when something happens with your your children or your grandchildren, that’s far more special to you. And so yesterday I said was the greatest day I’ve had at Augusta National. 155 seems to have been a popular number the last few groups. Hasn’t been kind to him this hole and he has never had five birdies in a row at Augusta National. Could this be the day, Nick? Five in a row. Right in the middle of the fairway. 124. Sitting at five under. Entering the hole. Safely on the putting surface which is going to set up a 13 ft birdie opportunity which if he converts would give him the outright lead. He will at six under. It’s all right. The number. They like it. Made a good pass at it. Oh, wow. Outstanding. There you go. Got to get to 14 under nine iron just below the hole. Maybe dead center. Ricky Fowler 67 today. 12 under over the weekend. Get in there. Hey, Nice. Come on. Yeah. Get in the hole. All right. However, Hey, hey, hey. Tiger. Five. Who is Oh yeah. Oh yeah. That’s it. Go slow. The early start with the leader Francesco Molinari now just leaving the practice facility. He’ll be playing today with Tiger Woods who’s two back. Oh my Jesus Christ. Gives it a cautious go. Yeah. Look at this. Not going to be short, is it? No. There he goes. This is just perfection. The heart the apex. It’s all yours, J. Oh my goodness. Ah, not quite. He knew it. So, how about that? It was a 50ft part and he was just trying to make it probably trying to hit a 12-footer. Took 50 seconds to get there. That was magnificent. Yeah. Come on. Yeah. Keep turning. Keep turning. Yeah. What a shot. Got a boy. Go go go go go. very makeable. Can be aggressive. Oh yes, Dustin Johnson. Look out. There you go. Fight down. Ball down. Let’s go. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Hey. on the nose to the right though as we watch Tiger walking up and he’d be concerned if he’s got far enough up to have a clear view. Wow. over shot that one. Play for the slope for safety. I can’t believe it. I’ve never seen Tiger play for safety. How about that? Lot of man history. Okay. But here it is, the return to glory. Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Heat up here.

Man, those memories from 2011! Probably my favorite Masters I've watched, that Sunday was pure chaos in the best way possible, from Tiger's front-nine charge to Schwartzel's birdie blitz at the end!
