In The Workshop this week we have a putter regrip for our friend @juice_knows. We’ll be regripping a Evnroll ZERO Z1 putter which features a offset reverse hosel which gives the Z1 a zero torque feel and performance.
For this build we’ve chosen the Garsen QUAD Tour Pistol PRO 17. It’s 17″ form factor makes it an excellent choice for zero torque putters, as well as a wealth of variety when it comes to grip styles.

Zero torque is all the rage and that’s exactly what we’re building up. Welcome back to the workshop. So, we’re doing this putter build for our guy Juice Nose out in Cali. Go ahead and check out his stuff at Juice Nose from our friends at Even Row. We are going to use their 38 tourpec 01 mallet putter. So, this Even mallet putter is going to have a pretty high MOI. They have their face for technology with this milled face. It also has this offset reverse hoszle for zero torque. First thing we got to do is cut this bad boy down to 38 in. So, what I’m going to be putting on is the Quad Tour Pistol Pro 17. This is at 95 gram. And what this is going to allow is a nice counterbalance throughout the putter, so nothing’s going to feel too heavy on either end. With these longer grips, you really want to make sure you use a lot of grip solvent to make it go on smoothly. It’s still going to take a little muscle. Just never stop when you put on an extended grip like this. And all I’m doing here with this putting alignment board is just making sure double- checking all the sight lines, making sure the grip aligns with that perfectly square.
