Three local amateur golfers will live out a dream shared by millions when they step onto the fairways of Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Earth course to compete in the DP World Tour Championship Pro-Am on November 11.
The fortunate trio earned their places through the DP World Tour Championship Pro-Am Challenge Grand Final, staged at Jumeirah Golf Estates on the Fire course, where amateur players from across the UAE competed for the chance to play alongside the world’s elite following qualifying events at clubs across the country.
Alex Kovacs from Emirates Golf Club, Soyung Park from Abu Dhabi Golf Club, and Moksh Parwani from Emirates Golf Club emerged victorious in the male, female, and junior categories respectively, with impressive scores of 42, 39, and 44 Stableford points. Each winner is now preparing for an unforgettable experience at one of the DP World Tour’s most prestigious events.

The three champions will join an elite field featuring the leading 50 players from the Race to Dubai Rankings, including career grand slam winner Rory McIlroy along with several members of Europe’s winning 2025 Ryder Cup team, teeing it up alongside golfing legends and rising stars in the days before tournament begins on November 13.
Freddie Schmeisser, Head of Championships & Business Development Director – Middle East, DP World Tour, said: “The Pro-Am Challenge represents everything we aim to achieve – creating pathways for amateur golfers to engage with the professional game at the highest level. Our three deserving winners have earned a truly exceptional opportunity to compete on the same stage where champions are crowned.”
“This initiative strengthens the foundation of golf throughout the region, and we’re grateful to the Emirates Golf Federation and all participating clubs for their continued support in making this programme possible.”
For the first time in tournament history, golf fans will be able to witness the star-studded Pro-Am in person, with Jumeirah Golf Estates opening its gates to spectators on November 11.
