The only reason a bowler like Cronje would be difficult for someone of Sachin’s ability is because you just don’t want to get out to that trash. Club cricketers would know this even clearer. There is always at least 2 bowlers in club cricket that you know you can dominate, and often that’s exactly what happens, but the thought of losing your wicket to them is always there.
This is not necessarily the best way to think when you’re out there batting, every ball should be given equal attention, but we all know that isn’t always how things go down.
Sachin deliberately hiding the truth that the toughest bowler he faced is McGrath as he could not dominate flawlessly in his career.
