OZARK, Mo. – Bradley Men’s Golf finished the Fall portion of the season on a high note, finishing in second place at the Missouri State Intercollegiate.

The Braves finished with a team tournament score of 858, just one stroke behind team champions Lindenwood. The score ties the third-lowest 54-hole score in program history. The team fired 291 in the event’s opening round before carding an eight-under-par 276, tying the program record for the lowest 18-hole team score. Entering the final day trailing by two strokes, the Braves posted another round of 291, finishing in second after Lindenwood carded 292 in the third round.

Carter Stevenson led the Braves individually for the fourth time this fall, finishing in third place with a five-under-par 208. Stevenson fired two rounds of 69 on Monday and a round of 70, finishing three strokes behind the leader.

Brody McCarthy joined Stevenson in the top 10, placing tied for sixth at an even-par 213. McCarthy’s finish was sparked by a second-round score of 66, which tied his career low and matched the lowest round fired by a Brave this season. The junior from Homer Glen, Ill., now has a pair of top-15 finishes in the last two tournaments.

Weston Walker was the third top-10 finisher for the Braves, finishing ninth with a one-over-par 214. The graduate student also fired two rounds of 69 on Monday to spark his top-10 finish.

Elsewhere, Brogan Smith placed tied for 25th with a score of 225, while Joey Cerney placed 39th at 233.
