SNOW HILL, N.C. – For the final time in the Fall season, the Ohio Dominican Panthers men’s golf team headed to North Carolina to compete in the Barton Fall Invitational. 

Over 54 holes at Cutter Creek Golf Club, the Panthers were seventh as a team of 11 on Monday (Oct. 27) and Tuesday (Oct. 28). Ohio Dominican totaled 933 (+69) for three rounds with team rounds of 303, 313 and 317.

The Panthers combined for 28 birdies (4th most) and 132 pars as a team.


Cian Hughes: Tied for 8th place for second top ten of the season with a 9-over 225; was 1-over 73, 5-over 77 and 3-over 75 for three rounds


10 birdies in the tournament (tied for the most of all players) – four birdies in round one with three in both rounds two and three


Nathan Menapace: Was tied for 17th place at 230 (+14), scored 6-over 78, 1-over 73 and 7-over 79

Team leader with 32 pars over 54 holes


Chase Forsyth: Finished tied for 31st place with a 235 (+19), started tournament with 1-under 71 before rounds of 83 and 9-over 81

Team-high seven rounds at or under par this season


Owen Lutz: Completed 54 holes for the first time in his career with a 244 (+28) in a tie for 44th place; scored 9-over 81, 8-over 80 and 83
Garett Dillon: 55th place, tallying a 251 (+35) with individual rounds of 85, 84 and 82

The team will resume their season in early March for the Spring segment.
