I know I’m over the top…

Your takeaway is decent, backswing is a bit long. That vertical drop with the hands is pretty nice but there’s not much hip turn to help it across the plane (but it’s also pretty exaggerated). Therefor your arms have to do the work to get you back to square because your lower body doesn’t turn much once you get to the top.

Look at how square your hips are to the ball at impact. Compare that with a tour player and you’ll immediately see the difference.

Honestly you have some good stuff to work with here. I’d go get a few pro lessons before you ingrain more bad stuff and have to spend time undoing it.

Start with your takeaway. The club head should be outside the hands moving into the backswing.

The club head should be inside the hands on the downswing.

Your hips are facing the ball at impact when they should be open about 45 degrees towards the target. This is done by starting the downswing with the lower body.

There are videos available on YouTube that explain how you can do this, but a live session with an instructor would be a faster way to fix your self taught swing.

You roll your trail foot out on the backswing and get stuck on it, absolute swing killer regardless of what you’re doing with the hands and club.
