The Springboks vs All Blacks clash was fiery from start to finish, but the spotlight is now on referee Karl Dickson. South African fans believe the Boks were on the wrong side of key decisions late in the match and many are saying the referee was too scared to punish New Zealand and risk ending their winning streak. Is this true?? Watch out…

Did Rasi Arasmus just bite his tongue because he’s scared of World Rugby? After that tense clash against the All Blacks, many fans felt the referee went soft in the final minutes. But instead of blasting the officiating like he’s done before, Rasi gave the safest, most politically correct answer you’ll ever hear. Rasi Arasmus has declined an invitation to publicly criticize referee Carl Dixon for his officiating in last Saturday’s rugby championship clash in Auckland. Let’s break down what really happened and why it looks like Arasmus feels cheated but can’t say a word. During the virtual media briefing, a South African reporter asked what everyone was thinking. Was the referee afraid to punish New Zealand late in the game? Did the pressure of ending their winning streak stop him from blowing the whistle? And the reporter even teased Arasmus asking if he had already made one of his famous referee review videos for Joel Judge at World Rugby headquarters. Now, old Rasi would have loved this question. Remember, he’s been banned twice for torching referees in public. Most famously, that 62-minute video in 2021 where he went frame by frame exposing mistakes. But this time, no, he stayed cool. Arasmus just said the penalties were 10 a piece, South Africa had one yellow card, and gave what he called a politically correct answer. That’s it. End of story. Since there are protocols, you know, we can accept that referees are human and pressure might sometimes get to them, he stated. We adapt and we even change team selection sometimes because there’s a protocol in place and again we just followed that protocol after this game. Of course, there’s pressure on referees, he added. Here’s the thing. Arasmus has clearly learned the hard way. One wrong word about refs and world rugby comes crashing down with bans, fines, and headlines. So even if he truly believes the box got the short end of the stick, he’s not risking another suspension. It’s almost like he’s scared to tell the truth even when it looks like his team was cheated. And that’s the problem. When the Springbox own director of rugby is too afraid to speak, it raises the question, who’s holding referees accountable? Are coaches just silenced by fear of punishment while controversial decisions get brushed aside? Arasmus might be protecting himself and the team, but many fans feel that silence only makes the injustice sting even more. So, what do you think? Was Rasi Arasmus smart to stay quiet and avoid another ban? Or should he have spoken his mind no matter the cost? 1. 2hy do we call it bad decisions, bad call and poor officiating? This is underhanded BS that is killing the sport. The AB got away with murder at Eden Park. Wellington they lost because of fair decisions.

  2. The ref played with the All Blacks, the only way they win. Without a double standard ref, the Boks win. I am of the opinion there are huge irregularities in the world of rugby management and bosses for the sake of money, bets, etc. They have just not been caught yet?

  3. We in 2025 , see what happened to Lewis Hamilton in formula one due to a " refs" poor decision, refs cannot just do as they please, the assistants should be brave enough too, to come in advise, what have become of us as humans ????

  4. During the upcoming Autumn Tour the Southern hemisphere teams MUST have enough points on the board to counter any bias/ strange or one sided call the refs are going to use to level the playing field.
As the World Cup comes into view Northern Rugby Union fans need to believe that their team has a chance of winning the Webb Trophy.
Let’s face it , if your team had no chance wold you pay huge $$$$$$$$ for match tickets and travel expenses ?

  5. Rassie has become ‘politically correct’ which okay but in view of how this game was officiated who will ultimately be accountable for the refs bad calls. World Rugby needs to address this ever increasing problem.

  6. Hamas is an international terrorist group. Hiding in Qatar or anywhere else does not safeguard them from Israel's eradication. They started this, did they really think Israel was just gonna roll over, do nothing? It serves hamas right. They should be running, and know that it is a futile effort: they can't hide. Nowhere in the world.

  7. Rassie is in a very DIFFICULT position. There should, in every international test, be an APPOINTED TEAM of RUGBY EXPERTS ASSESSING the REFEREE and "SCORING" HIS PERFORMANCE on a 1out of 10 scale and then giving HONEST FEEDBACK to officials after every match.

  8. World rugby needs a new core, not a political institution, no bands of people or countries. World rugby must've been a sports institution, not a political leader

  9. Rugby is a professional game the Refs are amateur s

  10. Yes go back to wcup 2023 and look what the REF/TV REF done to this game disaloute ARON SMITHS try after 4 phases and the rugby law spell out aftr 2 phases the game has been stop and in that phases the ref says play on ( KOLISI yellow cardt CANE red FAF takes 2long to pit the ball in last scrum the whole scenario was about the ref/TV ref and please test all the players before game start something will happen

  11. The only way the All Blacks can beat the Springboks is with a bias referee. Why should any rubgy coach be censured for telling the truth. Referees are in most cases fair but the are a number who do favour our certain teams and that also may be favoring the Springboks. Referees must be be tested by an unbais panel on their performances.

  12. Moenie Panic nie Man . 😂😂 l like to joke with you..not asking you to marry me or anything just want to chat friends ..have a lot of things to share my Rassie…

  13. One NZ player slapped a Bok in front of the ref, world rugby & the world. It's absolutely disgusting. Bokke must just take these biases against them & moer the snot out of them
