Top of the order for the Blue Jays. George Springer at the plate. Tying running in scoring position. Edward Mazardo on the pitch. Now you know Springer after getting hit in the knee saw his series maybe not continuing. Well, not only is it continued, he is in a position to tie the game up and possibly send this Blue Jays crowd into a frenzy. One and0. Fazardo heavily used. Two more innings last night with the Mariners chasing that game from behind. That included facing Springer. One more look at him. The one pitch high ball left field. A Rose Aarina. Where does it go? Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] George Springer has his Jose Bautista moment. this one deeper into the playoffs. This one could send him to the World Series. It’s not the World Series, but if Joe Carter had that jacket, he’d be wearing that jacket. Now, that jacket has had the biggest moment of the year to this point on Springer. Frenzy has so I I said I’m a little short. It’s beyond frenzy here. And for the top of the order, Homer single. Oh my god, says Ernie Clement. He is Canada right now. Ernie Clement, everybody’s saying that. George Springer, one of the great postseason hitters of the generation, has launched a three-run home run to turn this game upside down. It is 43 Blue Jays. They now are six outs from their first World Series in 32 years. [Music]

  1. The camera roll through the dugout was amazing!!!! And good on John and Joe for not talking over it. Amazing moment. Damn it was loud in there

  2. What an unbelievable moment! If you guys want to hear the crowd, watch the Canadian Sportsnet clip, they capture it much better!

  3. Puertorican blood on those veins, πŸ”₯πŸ‡΅πŸ‡·πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ₯‚πŸ’ͺ

  4. I love it! Hey Mariners fans, Springer got the last laugh. Blue Jays off to the World Series and the Mariners at home to watch. Mariners up 2–0 early in the ALCS and could only win one game out of the next 5.

  5. one of the best moments in baseball, no, sports, that I've ever witnessed. Imagine the adrenalin George had

  6. For those of you who didn't get to see the Joe Carter home run in 1993, this was just about as exciting.
… This team actually has a lot in common with the 1993 team. Which was very different from the 1992 team.

  7. Congrats to Toronto baseball fans, dramatic win ! Couldn't say that over 30yrs ago (Philadelphia fan here)

  8. My wife who doesn't care about sports levitated off the couch with her arms in the air when this ball was in the air.

Even someone with no MLB knowledge understood intrinsically what this swing meant.

Blue Jays are onto the World Series….

    Lets Go Blue Jays!!!!

  9. Jose Bautista's swing, bat flip, trot around the bases, and helmet slam in the dugout …. still the best ever (even though I'm a Dodgers fan hehe)

  10. I didn’t even need to see the ball get hit to know it was gone. As soon as I saw the pitch leave his hand I knew it would be in the stands. Don’t know how I knew, just one of those things that happens when you watch October baseball for a long time.

  11. Karma for you mariners fans. Don’t cheer when a player gets hit, you hoping for another players injury is disgusting. Now go home.

  12. Jose was at the game itself and said that he could feel the emotion as a spectator. I think even he knows that George outdid him on that one.

Kevin Pillar was interviewed on this and freely admitted that this blast was better than Jose and cheekily said he didnt want to anger his former teammate.

  13. To the fan who caught the ball with the #4 on his sweatshirt , helluva catch off the ricochet πŸŽ‰

  14. I love the mind games. Knowing Springer had been hit by a pitch in a previous game to his knee, the pitcher threw inside. Springer backs up with a little two step move. Thinking that worked, he throws it down the pipe and oops
