Feel bad cause I got so much input on basement yesterday. But in the case I can't make it work as the pillow in the photo is where I can stand and literally only there, I may have to use my living room. Not that much of a handy guy but how difficult is it to make a retractable enclosure if you literally took advanced cooking in school over industrial arts due to being bad with tools lol. Top left part of my ceiling is 8' and it gradually gets higher. Width is roughly 12'5. My dog needs this window :'(

10ft is always recommended for ceiling height. The higher the better, as accidents happen and the ball may go flying somewhere. And then at least 15-20ft of depth from the screen. And you don’t want to adjust your swing bc you’re afraid to hit the ceiling or something next to you. Do you happen to have a garage? I’ve got short ceilings in the garage but currently working on cutting out the rafters and making a new enclosure in the rafters with a side door garage mount.
IMO… unfortunately I’d say this space in the living room is still too small. You could try and make it work but I wouldn’t recommend it.
