If you’ve been hitting weak shots, slicing to the right, losing 30 plus yards every single time, this video is going to change everything. So, I’ve spent the whole year testing out the Hack Motion wrist sensor. And honestly, this thing has taken YouTube by storm. This has taken golf by storm. This little gadget should probably be in the bag of at least 90% of golfers. There’s so many reasons why just having one of these can make you a better golfer, improve your practice, improve your golf swing, and so much more. Let’s get into it. Right, let’s get straight into it. What is hack motion? Hack motion is a wrist sensor that does just that. It specifically focuses on your wrist angles and that is extension, flexion being the two main ones, which has a huge influence on your club face. We see a lot of slicers with too much extension either at the top of the back swing or as they’re coming down. That opens the face. We see a lot of people who struggle with the left side of the golf course having too much flexion which closes the face. Much more rare. We see a lot more slicers this year. I’ve been doing way more drills to help out all you guys slice the ball in lessons. Very rarely are golfers struggling with that side of the golf course. Maybe the odd pool. Not a really closed face sometimes, but most of the time I’m using this gadget and drills to get rid of the slice. Great thing about this is this controls club face. This controls compression. We’re going to get a much more compressed strike with a flatter left wrist as opposed to a cuped left wrist. So, there’s so much good stuff that can come from this. Wait till you see the drills that you can do anywhere. So, we’ve got it on. We’ve got the iPad up and ready to go. and we’re just going to hit five shots. So, if you’re brand new and you’ve just got your hack motion, I would recommend the guided practice. So, new practice, right-handed, start calibration. This is how easy it is. So, we click continue. Place a wrist in a flat position. In position, lift the arm. Start practicing irons. Done. Easy as that. So now, if you’re brand new to Hack Motion, the great thing is if you’re not sure what things mean, what to do, anything like that, you basically hit five shots. Those five shots, Hack Motion, are going to tell you what you struggle with and also give you an order of where to tackle. So, just watch. I’m going to hit five shots ridiculously quick. Let’s see what it says. [Music] So once you’ve hit those five shots, I know my issue anyway after using hack motion so much. I get the left wrist too flexed. I get the club face too closed and it’s goodbye ball left side of the golf course, which is the opposite to what most people struggle with. But you can essentially click overview and that’s exactly what it says. My main issue is my left wrist at the top is too flexed. Great thing about that, it doesn’t just say you’re rubbish or you’re this. It actually gives you some actionable drills that you can work on. So my suggested drill is the top of back swing drill where you just work on hating a position and for me not being too flat for most golfers not being too cuped. And then another thing that needs attention, I am casting the golf club. So I already know that the combination of the two things is a disaster for me. Closed face and a cast is a really good way to hit people on the left hand side of the golf course. Not recommended. So the great thing is you get your hack motion. All the drills are included on the core package, which is the basic package. So you’ve got your core, which at the moment is €345. That basically gives you access to the guided practice, which is what we’ve just done. Access to all the drills, so how to fix it, and it gives you flexion and extension. So, it gives you these numbers here. And to be quite honest, for the majority of people, that is going to be so, so helpful. If you wanted to add more information to it, this can give you putting numbers. So, say for example, you’re really, really flicky with the wrists, you struggle with your club face control, or you’re not sure what is going on with those wrists. If you go for the plus level, which is 495, then you get potting. So, you can really work hard on your putting. Again, just like full shots, wrist angles will dictate what that club face does. Play a huge part in club face control. And then if you want to completely geek out on the wrist angles, the pro level at €995 gives you all the wrist data you need. Putting guided practice, free practice, it gives you all the tour data of wrist angles, different models for different ways or matchups to get your club face in a good position. So that’s the ultimate feature. Great thing about HackMotion, you’re not subscribing to anything. You pay for your level. You can upgrade any time. the hardware stays the same, but once you’ve paid for it, that is it. You get the constant updates, you’ve paid for that level, you can continue to practice. So, go and check those out. It’s honestly a fantastic piece of kit. After thousands of lessons using this, the majority of people have the left wrist cuped, get that steep down swing, the face open, the big slice, and then as a result of that, they then have this huge throw at the bottom, lots of casting. So then they’ve either got the face open, swiping across and pulling or casting and just having horrible strikes. All of those are related. So if you can start with club face first, get that in a good position, then you can have a really nice knock-on effect. So for me, club face control is king. This helps you do that. So let’s go with my suggested top of the back swing drill. Start the drill. And now we’re going to get two forms of feedback. We’re going to get audio, which you’ll hear in a minute. And you get the vibration. You get the feedback of if it’s too flexed, or in most cases for you slicers, if it’s too extended, you won’t feel the wrist sensor buzz. If it’s in the right position for a good club face for you, that’s the great thing about this. This is based on how you hold the club. This is specific to you. Everybody’s is a little bit different. Depends how you hold the club. If it’s in the right spot for you, you will feel it vibrate. So fantastic feedback. So let’s give this a little go. So we’re going to go to address. Let it load up. Swing to the top. Too flexed. Okay, let’s go a little bit slower. So for me, less flexed. Better for most people. They’re going to find they take it to extended. Look at that club face. Wide open. There’s your slicer. So again, to address up to the top. Good. And you can do this at home, in your living room, wherever you want. You can do it wherever you want. You don’t need a golf ball. You can see that here. Then you can start to hit shots with that feeling. So we can go address to the top and hit. and just start to build up the feeling of what you need to do to make the swing changes to improve the face all the things you need to do to play better. So the next drill that Hack Motion has suggested is I am too busy casting on the down swing. A huge problem for so many golfers that just throws your strike out the window. If you just want to really hit the ball badly, let’s get casting and throwing too early. Not a good move. So back to the casting drill. So, say we’ve got that club face in a good position. Let’s start working on the casting. So, to the top, we hear the noise. We hold the angle. Rep captured, good rep. So, that for me does feel different. I would normally have the club a lower down at that point, which is going to get me throwing early and striking it. Questionable strikes when I do that. So again, going up to the top. Hold that angle. Let’s have another one to the top. Hold. That feels different. Right now, let’s hit one casting. So, anytime you think, that’s what I really like about it. Anytime you think you might have done it, HackMotion will tell you otherwise. So, it’s a great feedback tool. If you want to become the best golfer you can be, you need a feedback loop. You need to be able to hit a shot, get feedback, know if it was right or wrong, correct it with the next one, and keep following that feedback loop. If you want to get better as quickly as possible, you have to have that. So, that’s what’s amazing. The app just doesn’t tell you what’s wrong. It actually tells you how to fix it. So already within a couple of shots, I can feel that my left wrist’s too flexed and I know where it needs to be. And I can also feel that I’m casting the club and I can feel after three shots that that buzzing that is different. I don’t do that. I need to do that, but I don’t. So honestly, after using this for the whole of this year, my honest verdict, if you know your problem is club face related, wrist angles related, which they’re both, we’re talking the same thing here, this is without a doubt the best tool I’ve used. Nothing beats it. The only thing that gets close is a magnetic tool. You put that magnetic tool on, you start to work on the face, you have a look at it. That’s a really cheap tool. If you want to check that out, I’ll put a link for both in the description. Discount for Hack Motion and a link for the magnetic tool. If you’re working on face, if your club face control is very good, quite often we find that the strike also really improves. If you’ve got the face open and you’re slicing, if you’re casting and you struggle with that release, flippy hands, inconsistent face control, really flat left wrist, and struggling with big hooks, whatever it may be, Hack Motion has got a drill for every single golfer out there. Fantastic tool. And as I said, you can practice at home, no golf ball, into a net. It’s so small you can play a few holes with it on the golf course and really dive deep into why is your face control poor. And just bear in mind obviously you need to put some amount of practice into it. But what I would say is if you’ve got a tool like so you can dramatically reduce the amount of practice but dramatically increase the quality of your practice and get better. You could make 50 swings a week and get much, much better than going and whacking 500 balls a week because you’re going to get that feedback loop. You’re going to improve things. You’ll know where you need to be and where you don’t want to be in order to produce good golf shots. So, a fantastic piece of kit. I’ve done another review. If you want to check that out, just check that out just here. So, comment down below what you struggle with in your golf swing. Comment down below if you’re unsure whether Hack Motion will help you. Tell me what you struggle with in the comments. I’ll comment why it might possibly help you and if so, obviously Hack Motion guides you in that direction. But how to use it and what drills will really help you out. If you want to look at the drills, just check them out. There’s so many getting added. These are the best things about Hack Motion. You’ve got ones from stable wrist, top of the back swing, the Faldo drill, the inside takeaway drill is fantastic, and the motorcycle drill. If someone comes down with a cupped wrist, open face, steep shaft, which I’m going to put about 80% of golfers in that bracket, that one, especially in lessons. When I use that in lessons, that’s like a light bulb moment for golfers. When they first do the the motorcycle drill, they’re like, “Wa, I do not feel that whatsoever.” So, that one’s definitely a bit the biggest light bulb moment in general when I see people do that in lessons. So go and check out HackMotion. Fantastic piece of kit as you approach the winter, the off season, or even just a chance in the year where you can start to practice more. It’s in my top three tools to recommend and I can’t see it leaving there. It’s that good. Also, if you’d like some free help with your golf, couple of things in the description included for free. A free swing analysis with me on the Skillist app. That’s where I do my online coaching. And there’s a free 60inute practice plan in there. So, lots of good stuff in the description. Go and check it out. Go and check out HackMotion. Let’s improve your golf. And I’ll see you on the next video on the channel. [Music]
