I needed Oxford and Old Miss a lot more than they needed me. But I didn’t know I didn’t know God’s I didn’t know he was going to give me a second chance at being an in-person parent. After two straight winning seasons at Old Miss, Kein was once again courted by other higher profile programs. Ela Keifin seems to be one of the top names thrown around for the now open Auburn coaching job. I was like, I mean, I just moved here and now you’re going to go somewhere else. Like, I don’t want to go move somewhere else. I like it here. Me and my friends, we made this slideshow like collage to a song that like we knew he would find sad and like just really rethink his decision. and we came into the office and then set it up on like a movie projector screen and we were like, “We have something to show you. Come in here.” And then he sat down and we played it and he was like crying. After that, he told us he was going to stay. So, it worked. Sometimes you need your kids to, you know, point some things out to you and and just remind you of some things. And, you know, that that was very impactful. I’m not saying I was going I I don’t know that I was deciding. But that that made the decision for me.
