QUOTES
“Royal Kā‘anapali is a really fun course in a special setting. Certain spots can get you into trouble, but these college kids also have a chance to make a lot of birdies,” reflected seven-time PGA TOUR winner and current Hawai‘i men’s golf coach, Scott Simpson. “Kā‘anapali’s staff always have the course in fantastic condition. Fast greens are the course’s best defense. Accurate iron shots help avoid big breaks on their undulating greens.”
“While The Sentry has regrettably been cancelled for January 2026 at nearby Kapalua, it’s important to reiterate that Maui’s other golf courses, hotels and recreational areas remain open to everyone this fall and winter,” stated Karl Reul, general manager of Kā’anapali Golf Courses.

VENUE
Hawai‘i’s first planned resort, a model for resorts around the world, boasts over a dozen hotels, two championship golf courses, world-class dining and shopping. Kā‘anapali is a 45-minute drive from Maui’s main airport, Kahului Airport (OGG), and 10-minute drive from Kapalua Airport (JHM).
