Dustin Johnson has reportedly agreed to extend his stay with LIV Golf, according to a report.
Two-time major champion Johnson, 41, was among the first wave of players to be recruited by the PIF-backed league in 2022.
Johnson resigned his PGA Tour membership and signed a three-year deal said to be worth north of $100m.
He joined other high-profile golfers and major champions such as Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed and Cameron Smith in moving to the breakaway tour
It was understood Johnson’s contract expired this winter, leading to speculation that he would try and return to the North American circuit given his poor form in the major championships since he joined LIV.

“Multiple sources confirm that Dustin Johnson has signed a new contract with LIV Golf.
“The details of the deal are unknown at this stage, but the 2022 Individual Championship winner was in New York recently to meet with officials and will be returning as captain of 4 Aces GC in 2026.
“There’s been lots of speculation about star names leaving the league, but we understand that most players up for renewal this year have already agreed terms and will be teeing it up next season, with all players not released or relegated also expected to do so.”

Johnson isn’t the only big name LIV will be fighting to hold onto.
DeChambeau and Koepka’s contracts run through to the end of the 2026 season.
Two-time US Open champ DeChambeau said before the 2025 Ryder Cup he was close to hashing out a new contract.
DeChambeau’s popularity has soared since he joined LIV and started creating content on YouTube.
Koepka’s future remains less clear. Former Masters winner Fred Couples previously claimed the 36-year-old American was keen on rejoining the PGA Tour.
For his part, Koepka denied this was the case, saying that even he did not know what his future would look like.
